  Overall good experience. Breakfast was hot and stocked well (some expired yogurts). The pool is nice being 3-5ft its good for the kids to play. There is no hot tub anymore which was a let down.

  Normally when I travel I use Holiday Inn Express as a disabled Veteran Ive always been treated well. The Ellensburg Holiday Inn Expreess is a nice property but the double the price on the rooms when there are family sports events in town. If I wanted to pay double the price I would book at Marriott or Hilton. Its happened twice now in the Central Washington properties. I'd recommend if your traveling through Central Washington make sure you call and ask if there is some kind of function in town if there is avoid it.

  Bring ear plugs and a shower curtain if you stay here! The train rumbles through several times a night and will wake up the dead. I was charged $100.00 cleaning fee because they don't know about bleach. Yes, when I shampooed my hair the semi-permanent hair dye got on the shower curtain and they said they had to spend extra time to clean the tub. The pictures would prove otherwise. The tub was sparkling white (see pics) when I left and washing the shower curtain in bleach will remove any color residue. The room was cleaner when I left then when I arrived. TV remotes without backs over the batteres that don't work. The usual breakfast and you'll need to ask if you want a coffee maker in the room. I won't stay here again. And to answer management's reply: I did bring my own towels that's why you see white hotel towels hanging on the towel racks in the pictures I provided and took upon my departure but thanks for the suggestion. I'm sure you'll find my suggestion that you should know what 50 cents of bleach will do when added to a wash cycle as helpful. It will remove any color residue. Cool to know you don't bleach items.

  Becky from housekeeping truly saved my day. She found and returned my luxury watch just before I left the hotel. Her honesty, integrity, and hard work meant so much to me in that moment.   Overall great experience. The room was clean and comfortable with a view of a creek and field out the windows which was good because the windows shade which is electric would not close. Though they could not fix the issue customer service was great and they offered me an upgrade. Breakfast was good with plenty of options and the staff kept refilling the warmers ensuring the food was fresh. Located right off the freeway I expected traffic noise however the room was quiet other than the two owls chatting outside my window.
