  My wife was visiting a friend in Ellensburg for the weekend and went to this hotel. The cleaners cleaned her room, but left the door open all day….It was the worst experience and management didn’t really apologize or have anything to say. Imagine spending the day in Ellensburg and coming back to a hotel room with the door wide open. Made the experience feel very unsafe, items could have been stolen, or messed with. That is so unacceptable and the staff member should be ashamed of themselves. Do not go here.

  We booked for a weekend because it's proximity to Suncadia. We knew would want to soak in a nice hot tub when we were We were disappointed in the visibly dirty bathtub when we went into our room. I contacted the front desk and the young lady told me she was short staffed so I told her to provide me with the cleaner and I had no problem cleaning the tub, I'm a mother I've seen worse. We left for a few hours and when we returned could smell some sort of cleaner in the room. I went into the bathroom and the tub was still dirty. I went to the front desk and asked the same young lady to give me some Dawn and I'd clean it myself. We went about evening. The next day went to enjoy breakfast to find there was not a drop of coffee available. OK fine we went to the local coffee shop. We went about our planned trip at Suncadia and had a great time. Another group of friends had come up for the day and we convinced them to book at the same location because of the hot tub. We returned to the property after a long day. To our horror a closed hot tub sign. That's the reason we booked here in the first place. On top of that the indoor pool was cold. We went to the front desk and no option was offered. The next morning I noticed a dehumidifier in the hallway next to the pool and the hot tub/pool area still closed. Our room was the closest to the pool area. As we were packing up our room we discovered the leak had in fact leaked into our room and clothing was soaked. Luckily we had tubs to put our snow gear in and did so. At this point I was over it. I was very disappointed when I contacted Best Western and they didn't seem to care because I had booked through Expedia. I waited days for a return call for them to basically say the property directly told them oh well. I booked with them because of Best Western's reputation. I don't believe we'll return when we come back for a weekend in the snow.

  Woo hoo, found the ice machine. I understand it only slightly easier than communicating with the recently departed, but not like trying to communicate with an engineer, somewhere in between, getting a clear answer from a weather person.

  Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Training is nearby so we heard that but not too loud with TB and fan on. Decor is a bit dated, but again clean. Bed was very comfortable. We didn’t use the pool or hot tub, but that area was very clean as well. Front desk personnel was very efficient and friendly. We’ve been on the road for 2 months and we were very happy with the hottest breakfast we’ve had out of all hotel brands. The breakfast was the normal fare of eggs, meat, biscuits, waffles, etc and it was HOT! The breakfast area was very clean as well. Thank you Best Western for finishing our vacation on a high note. We would definitely stay here again.
