- RZRegina Zackuse-LaneNov 16, 20252.0Hello: I stayed at this hotel on 11-14-25 to 11-15-25, the room was comfortable, the chairs were worn and stained, the amenities for shampoo, conditioner and soaps could be updated because they didn't smell very good. I went to work out in the gym and none of the equipment that they had on site worked, the bike didn't turn on at all, the treadmill turned on but wouldn't start and the same for the cross trainer. When I asked the front desk lady she said "Oh I thought at least the cross trainer worked, I said yes you can move the the arms and feet part of the cross trainer but there is no timer or resistance." I told her "that's ok, I think I'll just go for a walk." When I returned, the front desk person was standing with another worker and she told me "We've come up with a brilliant idea, I said ok and she said I'll get in my car and you can try to pull it for resistance." Her and the other worker cracked up laughing and I walked away. I thought the comment was totally uncalled for and unprofessional. I have an idea for your hotel, why don't you keep your equipment working or put up a sign on the door stating all the equipment is broken. I will not recommend this hotel or ever stay at this hotel again.

I felt comfortable with a solid bed to sleep in and the heating unobtrusively working in the background. A fantastic value for a hotel in a town of 2,200 people. Travelers to/from Lewiston and Walla Walla keep a steady volume on US 12. I'd actually consider staying in Dayton over Walla Walla. This hotel is as good or better as any in Walla Walla or Lewiston and Clarkston. Small town vibes do a lot for this small town boy.
