- SPSophia Pirie3 days ago3.0This review isn’t for the hotel as far as service and other general issues, it’s for booking. Today I called this locations hotel to book a room, it asked me to press 1 to schedule a reservation and I had no reason not to think this wasn’t the hotel I was still talking to after I was prompted to press 1. It was a 3rd party booking agent who didn’t tell me where he was from, I scheduled my reservation and thought all was good (and that I had talked to someone from best western) until I needed to change the dates and called the hotel later on in the evening and got connected right away to the front desk and she informed me that I could not change it bc I had booked with a 3rd party. So I had to figure who they were and cancel, they had already charged my card for the days I booked. I’ve read reviews on these people and they are not good. Stories of people not even getting their refunds back and impossible to get a hold of. I live paycheck to paycheck and they charged my debit card over $500 which they say will be refunded to me within 3-7 business days. If I knew I was going to be charged prior I would’ve never booked. All in all I’m very upset best western is using this service and if I don’t get a refund back from this scammy looking 3rd party booking company I hope that best western will make it right for me. My whole point in telling this story is so people don’t make the same mistake, make sure you don’t book from their automated system.

My 2 complaints are that the AC was not working, we opened the windows and heard the train blow its horns several of times in a row almost every 30 mins..... I had very minimal sleep the 2 nights I stayed there. I would not stay there again or perhaps ask for the opposite side of the hotel???
