This place impeccable and great. Babi the concierge was top class and professional. The bar made the best drinks I had in Seattle. This was a staycation for our family. This place is beautiful and definitely deserves attention.

The experience was a constant mismatch between expectations set by the hotel and reality, our experience was weirdly discordant. We called before checking in to see if there was self parking, and were told that it was valet only. But once we showed up it turns out there actually is self parking adjacent to the hotel about 50ft away. The valet upon learning we weren’t going to valet just walked away without another word. On the phone, we were told to call 1 hr before we intend to check in to see if early check in was available. But when calling, we were then told we had to arrive first before they could check. Of course it doesn’t make sense to expect these things; I wish they were more upfront on first contact. Upon arrival, we were told that no rooms were available for early check in but they would upgrade us to a suite. Sounds amazing! We walk around for two hours and get back. The “suite” upgrade did not materialize and in fact they moved us to a room with a courtyard view (we booked city view). Just weird that they keep setting expectations unnecessarily. Lastly, on checkout, they rushed us through and just said that they would email the folio if we felt like there shouldn’t be issues. Well, they charged us for a bottle of chardonnay we clearly didn’t drink. When we called to fix the error, they said it would “perfectly be covered by the Edit credit”. So that didn’t get fixed either. So—something weird with their management. Staff were all very nice and pleasant but seems like they have some policy and operational issues.

The rooms are very nice…spacious and cozy. The hotel room doors SLAM very loudly and every time a guest comes or goes it’s very startling —to the point it wakes us up….

The room i stayed in was cozy and clean, and the staff was nice and accommodating. The only heads-up i have is the parking situation, u can choose the valet or self park. I chose to self park, and the parking was not cheap and not reimbursed by the hotel, which the front desk did inform of me during check-in. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

I stayed on the 10th floor and had an issue I wish I knew about before booking. The gym is on the 11th floor and it’s open 24 hours, which sounds convenient, but I could constantly hear weights being dropped above me - even late at night. The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms are great, but the noise from the gym made it hard to sleep. If you’re sensitive to noise, avoid the 10th floor. When you know thw gym is above rooms of 10th floor, at least close the gym after specific hour at night.
