A HOTEL WITH A HEART! My nephew was in a car accident and had very serious injuries, so had to be sent to the University of Vermont Medical Center. It was a several hour trek by car/ferry for my sister and her husband to be there with him. I arranged a room for them at this hotel due to its proximity to the hospital and being a Hilton Honors member. Shortly thereafter, I myself traveled from Connecticut, reserving another room, to be there to support them. While everything about the hotel was top-notch under any circumstances, the care and concern (and personal hand-written/signed note from the staff expressing this) touched our hearts. We weren't just hotel guests; we were a family carrying the pain of seeing a loved one hurting, and they cared for us that way.

An overnight family visit. I have stayed many times in the past, and the overall inside of the hotel is in very very good condition. I didn't get to swim this time, but things looked nice and clean. The worry is -the outside areas. While they are in construction mode, the parking lots had a lot of litter and there were overflowing receptacles at the doggie walk area and near entrances-old cigarettes and cups and general messiness. I worry that perhaps lower employee ratios is causing this- but hopefully there will be more attention paid to the area-especially with so much happening to add on to the hotel. I love the rooms and the atmosphere- and want to stay again!

It's a huge hotel, and the newer rooms are great. There's an old wing with rooms that are a little run down. They say they try to avoid putting people there, and only use them if they are overbooked. But the staff are super nice and helpful and they moved me to a much better room. The location allows for a nice walk to campus, but it's a little too far to walk downtown.

I was there for the NA convention. The staff or front end check in desk person was very friendly and helpful. The meeting rooms were great and the events were even better. I definitely recommend this place for any meetings or retreats and conventions that might be held. I'll definitely be back.

Hotel is under construction which makes parking extremely difficult due to the workers. Staff is friendly as can be. The room I had needed some repairs. Cracks in shower basin and other varies things that needed repairs. I avoid elevators but after smelling the stairwell I decided it was best to take the elevator. The staff surely made up for the short comings of the owner.
