    Mold. Mold. Mold. Destinee was incredibly accommodating and moved me to another room, but I left at 8pm for another hotel. I was getting sicker by the minute.

    My husband stayed here in October 2025. Found multiple bedbugs in his room on the night stand when he woke up in the morning. Told front desk and clerk became agitated that the Hampton Inn does not have bed bugs. This was the second room he was relocated to due to the first room smelling of sewage. This was a very expensive one night stay since when he returned home we had houseguests due to a family funeral and he had throw out his clothes, briefcase, luggage, and have his car cleaned. Nightmare.

    Hilton Diamond member checked in around 5pm. Service agent at the front desk. I need your ID, I need you to fill this out, I need your car info. I think she was confused who the customer was.. Room had furniture covered with large stains, wall paper falling off, mold around bathtub.. Not what I expect from a Hampton property. The next few nights we stayed in Scranton PA. the exact opposite, "welcome to Hampton, thanks for being a loyal member. May I see your ID? Room was clean and well kept.

    The room was ok, but the carpet was foul. I dripped some water on the carpet and the towel I used to wipe it up was brown. And these air conditioner unit had mold in it. The homeless accommodation next door didn’t seem to be an issue at first, but it was definitely unnerving to see people that were staying there milling about the Hampton property. We saw NO security at all. And for a dog friendly place, a lot of the guests have to take our dogs out late at night… so having people suddenly appear out of the darkness is creepy. The dog walking area is in the back of the building, and it’s pitch black back there after dark, so you’re forced to walk them around the parking lot…. And that was where both of our dogs as well as myself picked up ticks! On one dog, they didn’t attach, since he’s on preventative, but the little elderly one can’t take preventative due to history of seizures…. So she ended up with a tick imbedded in her head. Ugh! And thankfully I saw the one on me before it got imbedded. And these were from in the parking lot…. So anyone walking through there could be taking them into the rooms or back home with them! Hopefully they get this addressed ASAP! The $500 security deposit was a shock! But I guess if they’ve been burned a lot in the past, it’s the price you pay! And hopefully it’ll be reversed within a day or two. Overall, our stay was ok…. But definitely not normal Hampton quality…and we wouldn’t stay there again.
