The room was clean and comfortable, and close to offerings for food and snacks you can bring back to the room. Only star off was for difficulty patching in to the hotel's wifi network, and a TV that wasn't functioning, but really wasn't an inconvenience as I had a laptop and streaming services on there for entertainment. Breakfast was quite pleasant, a decent spread for a hotel at this price point. I'd certainly stay here again if my travels have me going through this part of Virginia again!

Remodeled approximately a year ago. Areas are clean, no smell. Some paint boo-boos, but doesn't affect the stay. Shower head probably a little low for 6 footers. Water is hot, good pressure. Beds are very comfortable, mattress topper is nice, pillows of assorted firmness. Breakfast is good for diabetics/low carb. No waffles or pancakes. Scrambled eggs, fresh bacon pieces, turkey sausage patties, oatmeal, cold cereal, yogurt, bagels, bread, sm Danish. Coffee, tea bags, hot chocolate. Not in room, but coffee always available in the lobby. I have not used the pool as my stay is only over night. I HIGHLY recommend staying here.
