This hotel is a poorly renovated La Quinta and does not come close to meeting the standards I expect from an IHG property. Peeling paint, musty smelling, loud HVAC unit, uncomfortable bed, flat pillows, bathroom can't possibly be considered clean, lack of hot water.
I realize dog friendly is good for some people, but waking up at 5am to a barking dog a few doors down the hall is not something we look forward to. I would suggest keeping one floor for visitors with dogs and leaving the remaining floors for people without pets.
We travel thru the area a few times a year and we won't be staying here in the future

Check in was super smooth and decent price. We got up to our rooms, and they seemed clean. We were staying on New Years Eve and had kids that really wanted to swim but unfortunately the pool was under maintenance. We asked if we could receive a full refund to find a hotel nearby with a working pool. The staff was great and quickly approved our request. The refunds showed up quickly on my card. Seemed like a great place, just didn’t really get the chance to stay!

Great experience! We usually stay at Red Roof Inn for their free pet policy, but after MULTIPLE HORRIBLE experiences with several different locations, we decided to pay the $30 pet fee here and are glad we did. The rooms are clean, fresh and well maintained. There was a spot on the comforter, but the sheets were clean and fresh. Bathroom was clean. Fresh, spotless towels. They supplyliquid hand soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner and body wash, all Dove brand. While this hotel isn't fancy, it is well maintained and clean. The breakfast was surprisingly good! Fresh, hot eggs, bacon, salsa, cheese and sausage, pastries, cereals, oatmeal with toppings, and your usual yogurt, juice and a nice caffeine/caffeine free coffee machine with CoffeeMate creamer. The staff are really friendly and welcoming, always greeting you and wishing you farewell.
If traveling with your pets, we would highly recommend using Garner over Red Roof Inn. It is a night and day difference and worth the small fee. We will NEVER step foot in a Red Roof Inn again! We will be making this our regular stop on our annual Florida trip!

Before these “garner” folks set fire to the magnificent and glorious Laquita, then proceeded to buy the plot of land for astronomically cheap and renovated it to the new condition it’s currently in. The Laquita used to be a safe haven for a peaceful nights rest, almost a kind of oasis, I mean me and my family frequently stayed in the hotel on our annual road trip and it just held so many fond and beautiful memories. Like the fist time we ever stayed at Laquita we met this beautiful plus sized women that told us the secret of bugles the little cone shaped chips and when you combine spray cheese it makes a little ice cream cone. The morel of the story is that nothing good last forever.

Pros: Hotel is near Interstate. No one at front desk at first, but staffer appeared a few minutes later. Had been making fresh cookies for check-in. Front desk friendly and knowledgeable about area. Room was clean, shower was good. Room was decent sized. Cons: Breakfast was passable, could take it to next level by adding some things. Pool was closed, but for re-modeling. Ice machine out on 1st floor. Side note. Hallways are crazy wide. Almost like a convention mall. Hotel has construction going on. Would stay here again.
