- RHRobert HopperJan 5, 20265.0Driving to and from Connecticut to North Carolina always requires a hotel stay and in the southbound leg, assuming DC doesn't add his to our trip we always choose BW+ in Thornburg, VA. Convenient off I95, located minutes from very good italian and Mexican restaurants plus fast food it presents a great stop. Add the cleanliness of the room, the very nice swimming pool, and the nice breakfast and it is a perfect stop. We will always stay there when traffic allows.
