Terrific, CLEAN hotel located near all the attractions in Williamsburg. A special shout-out to the bartender - Nancy - who was working the night of Dec. 29. My husband and I enjoyed a cocktail at the end of a long day and Nancy made our hour spent at the bar very enjoyable. Thanks, Nancy!

I travel 100+ days/year and have lived in hotels for 6+ years. This wasn’t a simple “one person, one night” stay: 3 adults + 3 kids (under 10) meeting for Christmas after 15+ hour drives from opposite directions to do Williamsburg/Busch Gardens/Great Wolf, etc. Night 1 check-in (Dec 26): staff couldn’t find our reservation by name OR by the confirmation number THEY provided (not 3rd party). After ~20 minutes at the desk with tired kids: • Told keys were for 303; they were for 305. • While my wife was downstairs, they deactivated the original keys without telling me, leaving me + kids locked out in the hallway. • Then they issued keys to the wrong room again. It took ~35–40 minutes total before we could reliably get into rooms. Rooms were clean, but we didn’t unpack since we were switching to suites. Immediately after arrival, my mom tried to cancel 1 night and they refused Room transition (Dec 27): still required checkout by 10am with the next room not ready until 3pm. That gap cost us vacation time: we lost 2+ hours at Busch Gardens waiting for the room so we could move our stuff in. Food / “restaurant” / lobby: the on-site “restaurant” is basically a bar with a limited menu—my wife couldn’t eat any of it (plus allergy restrictions). We got takeout from nearby places in the same parking lot and sat in the lobby seating far from the bar (lobby seats ~80–100; bar had only a few people). The bartender asked if we were eating; I told her exactly: my wife is grabbing food, we’ll eat it here, and we’re ordering drinks. She said OK. My mom ordered a drink. The drink arrived, the food hit the table, and then she kicked us out saying outside food isn’t allowed on site. If that’s the policy Don’t approve the plan, take the drink order, then kick a family out the moment the food shows up. I asked where it was posted, she produced a plaque kept behind the bar (not visible from the lobby seating). It felt like she got a sale out of us and then kicked us out. I told her to get lost, told my mom not to pay/tip/drink it, and our embarrassed family went upstairs to eat in our rooms (not our intention—we wanted to order drinks and decompress). By this letter-of-the-law policy, there is effectively no lobby—nowhere to sit with a coffee or a sandwich while waiting, because all seating is treated as the “restaurant.” gym is unsanitary. In our newer room the HVAC is insanely loud (sounds like an F-22 taking off). No bathroom exhaust fans. Breakfast: Day 1 they told me my 3-year-old wouldn’t be charged. Every subsequent day they charged for him. I saw ~30 people in the pool with a posted capacity of 26. So the hotel clearly picks and chooses which policies to enforce. Laundry/checkout: dryer was broken—we paid twice and clothes still didn’t dry. Then they tried to push us out at checkout while we were still trying (1.5+ hours) to dry clothes. broken processes and inconsistent policy enforcement. We left confused, inconvenienced, and feeling taken advantage of rather than appreciated.

The Service in the morning was not good! I came with a group of people and we had breakfast in the Hilton. The server Delphe that we had on the days of the 29th to 30th was rude to us. I understand that we were a lot of people but we were expecting to have at least good service. But the server at night was nice she was being respectful to us and we loved having her as our server.
