Our room REEKED of cigarettes. Like not a faint smell, it was to the point that we were gagging in the bathroom. The bathroom didn't even have a fan so we couldn't air it out. We thought it wouldn't be a big deal because we weren't going to be spending a lot of time in the room as we were there for a wedding, but the smell stayed just as strong that we were coughing and gagging in the morning too. Our clothes smelled like cigarettes when we left. We let the man at the front desk know when we got back from the wedding and he said that someone had been vaping and that they sent out a notice. It seemed like he knew exactly what I was talking about and regurgitated an excuse or something. There was no way that anyone could possibly think that a vape could make that smell. It was as if someone had freshly chain smoked or had been smoking in there every day for 20 years. On top of that, there were stains on the washcloths and sheets. We were low on time so we didn't have time to request a new room, but theres no way staff didn't know how awful the smell was and still put us in there. Extremely disappointing and put a real damper on what was supposed to be a fun trip celebrating friends. Luckily, the woman we spoke to at the front in the morning seemed concerned and was very kind. I didn't get charged for the smell, which is good, but also tells me that staff/management knows about the issue and isn't doing anything about it other than having their employees lie about it being a vape. Do not go here.

I only stay at Hilton Hotels! Even though they were undergoing renovations still very clean and nice!! We loved in the lobby they had a Williamsburg Magazine filled with coupons and nearby attractions. They also had print outs of restaurant recommendations, how far and where local hot spots are and one more sheet just can’t think what it said! But major props to the staff doing that! We took a copy and definitely took so recommendations from that!

The review is due to wrong details for rooms. I specifically found a king bed with an accessible TUB. When we get here, three rooms later, we are in a 2 queen with a regular tub. My hubby is disabled and needs to sit in a bath and can't take a shower due to balance issues. The girl at the desk was very accommodating and very apologetic. Details online need to be updated to what the rooms really are, especially for disabled people. Then the tub wouldn't hold water! The experience wasn't totally a bad one, but I wouldn't go out of my way to stay here again. We travel quite a bit and I've never seen the details of rooms be so horrible! You expect to get what you booked.

Noisy, dated rooms with damaged bathroom and main doors. The bathroom door was almost impossible to open or close. Each time we opened or closed the bathroom door it made a terrible cracking sound. The main door slammed. The sink drain was very slow. The hot water in the sink and took almost 10 minutes to make it to our room. The hallway was very noisy. We could hear doors slamming and people talking in the hall begining at aeound 6:15 am both mornings during our stay. The electronic locks reset on our second day. I had to have new key cards programed. The front desk attendants were friendly and able to assist with our needs.

Had high hopes once we arrived. The room we stayed in seemed to be upgraded ascetically than what I saw in the photos from the website. That is where it stopped. Mattress cover on the pull out couch was stained and had someone else's hair on it. The room safe was locked and was able to be removed from room (notified staff, they fixed while we were out of the room). There appeared to be mold or mildew above the shower area. The indoor pool water seemed murky/unclean. The air conditioner in our room had exposed wires (notified front desk while we were checking out). The cleaning crew did not clean our room after the 1st night even though we pointed to our room on the way out. The fire alarm went off at 1:15 am on our 2nd night stay for about 3 minutes; we did not evacuate. One elevator was down due to maintenance. The workout room has stickers peeling off the walls. On a positive note, the breakfast was pretty good.
