Noisy, dated rooms with damaged bathroom and main doors. The bathroom door was almost impossible to open or close. Each time we opened or closed the bathroom door it made a terrible cracking sound. The main door slammed. The sink drain was very slow. The hot water in the sink and took almost 10 minutes to make it to our room.
The hallway was very noisy. We could hear doors slamming and people talking in the hall begining at aeound 6:15 am both mornings during our stay.
The electronic locks reset on our second day. I had to have new key cards programed. The front desk attendants were friendly and able to assist with our needs.

Had high hopes once we arrived. The room we stayed in seemed to be upgraded ascetically than what I saw in the photos from the website. That is where it stopped. Mattress cover on the pull out couch was stained and had someone else's hair on it. The room safe was locked and was able to be removed from room (notified staff, they fixed while we were out of the room). There appeared to be mold or mildew above the shower area. The indoor pool water seemed murky/unclean. The air conditioner in our room had exposed wires (notified front desk while we were checking out). The cleaning crew did not clean our room after the 1st night even though we pointed to our room on the way out. The fire alarm went off at 1:15 am on our 2nd night stay for about 3 minutes; we did not evacuate. One elevator was down due to maintenance. The workout room has stickers peeling off the walls. On a positive note, the breakfast was pretty good.

Although we did the app check in, we did have to visit the front desk. The room was clean. The mattress had some age to it, but so do my wife and I. The breakfast food was mediocre, but it is a Hampton so was too be expected. It's a very short drive or even walk to Colonial Williamsburg - very convenient.

We stayed at this hotel with my husband and our friends while visiting Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Before checking out, I removed my prescription glasses in the room and put in my contact lenses. Unfortunately, I forgot my glasses in the room. It has been almost a month now, and I keep asking my husband to call the hotel regularly.
I am a -4 myopic, and living without my glasses has been extremely difficult. They keep telling us that they have my glasses, but they make no effort to send them back. Every time we call, they tell us to speak with the manager, but the manager is “not there” or “will call back,” which never happens. Their communication is absolutely terrible.
We stayed in room 325, and they claimed they “don’t have our card on file,” which makes no sense. They clearly have our phone number and all our information. Instead of helping, they keep blaming us. Now they say they will send the glasses “tomorrow,” but after a month of excuses, I do not believe them.
I haven’t bought new glasses because I kept hoping mine would arrive, and now I’m dealing with headaches every day. Anyone with high prescriptions will understand how difficult this is.
If you choose to stay at this hotel, do not forget anything in your room, because you will never get it back. This has been the worst customer service I have ever experienced, and it truly damages the Hilton name.

Front desk staff was warm and welcoming.
Breakfast was busy as it was a holiday weekend, but the staff was friendly and kept everything replenished.
Shower pressure was nice, but the tub did drain slowly.
Walls are very thin, you can hear people in the hallway easily, and I could hear someone snoring through the wall. Not surprising as this seems to be the norm for a lot of hotels, but consider bringing earplugs if you’re a light sleeper or bothered by noise.
Location was great, easy to get to and from everything, without being on a super busy street.
