  My wife and I recently stayed here because she had a work conference at nearby Wintergreen and for a few reasons she didn't want to stay at the air b&b her work rented. We've had mostly good experiences with BW hotels so I used points for our stay. I'm pretty familiar with the business parts of Waynesboro from previous jobs I had where I traveled through the area so I knew where this hotel was and in case you're looking for somewhere to stay in Waynesboro that's convenient to a lot of stuff this place is a hidden gem! You see it from the road but it can be a little complicated to get into. There's Walmart, Target and countless restaurants within ten minutes of here! Anyway, to review the inside of the hotel. The lobby was beautiful, the front desk associate at check-in was friendly. We stayed Friday night and she had her days mixed up so she told us the wrong time for breakfast (its an hour later starting and ending on weekends) which was ok it happens. Our room was clean, the king size bed was great for us. I liked that the hallway light was bright. There's a BW we've stayed at in Williamsburg multiple times and the hallway light there is dim. The only negatives I have our 1) the bathroom feels cramped especially because there is hardly any space between the door and the toilet. 2) the bathtub was clean but something on the mat or whatever was in there looked like dry clay or something. I think it's just material from the mat/liner. 3) the shower handle seems like it's upside down. You have to turn it counterclockwise and almost a full circle to get hot water. 4) the curtains don't close which seems to be a common BW thing. If I ever needed to stay the night in Waynesboro again I would have no hesitation to stay here! We had to take breakfast to go so we didn't get to really enjoy it. They do have a waffle maker which I love when a hotel has one! And like I said before, this hotel is in a great location. There's three restaurants you could walk to without having to be along side a busy road. Those restaurants are Cracker Barrel, Golden Corral and a local or at least local to Virginia BBQ restaurant.

  I've stayed in Best Westerns before but never a BW-Plus. I think the Waynesboro location should be a minus. It is 4 stories with 74 rooms I believe. There is one elevator bay and two ice machines in the whole bldg, and 1 was out of service. The front desk staff was very friendly but did not know the details of the gift card promotion. Just said she wasnt sure and then told me I could read about it on their website. I almost laughed out loud. The tv sat on top of dresser drawers and one of the drawers was broken and falling off. There was no coffee pot in the room. There was a chair in the corner to use to get dressed but it didnt have arm rests so it wasnt for sitting to read or relax. The a/c did work really well. The bathtub had a little mold in the tub. How are all those a PLUS? They do have a free hot breakfast which is always appreciated but it was standard scramble eggs, bacon and biscuits plus the usual continental stuff. Nothing special, the only fruit was a bunch of tangerines. I've been to nicer regular Best Western properties in the past. The bed was firm which I like but the pillows were lumpy. Overall the place was clean just a little run down.

  Reasonable priced, clean and comfortable! Slightly dated. a/c heat machine was very loud i had to shut it off to sleep, then woke up very cold. Would stay again our main concern is cleanliness, and it was clean and odor free.

  A little bit off the beaten path but for the $ better than expected. Staff was super friendly and helpful.
