  Room is great for one without reservations so it's really good cheap and not nasty the only down side is the 10 safes in my room don't know what that's about I don't have that many valuables with me

  Stayed here at the beginning of June with my family. Halfway home, I get a call from the hotel saying that we left my kids nintendo switches (2) and a game case full of 24 games. I asked is it possible for them to ship it to me, they said yes. If they said no, I would have turned around and went to get them. After a month of calling them asking them to send it, they finally said they shipped it out. They provided no tracking information Or insurance information. Keep in mind this is almost $1,000 worth of things that could easily fit in a USPS priority shipping box that would cost like 20 bucks. A month goes by and I still haven't received it. So I decided to contact Best Western corporate, they say they're going to get in contact with the manager to see what's going on. Another week goes by contact them again and they say the same thing. Once a month I email them about my now believed stolen items and they give me the same sentence that they're reaching out to the manager. Now 6 months later, I log into my kids Nintendo accounts and see that someone is playing those switches and playing the games that we owned. I firmly believe that they did nothing. They probably just let them sit in the lost and found until a certain amount of time passed then someone just took them. Or even just stole them right away. I will never booked with a Best Western or any affiliate hotels again. They are untrustworthy. So instead of getting my kids new presents this year I had to sell a bunch of my stuff just to replace what they already had.

  Just so you are aware this hotel charges a $100 dollar deposit and they also charge for parking. They keep this information hidden until after you book. So if you decide to cancel they still charge you.

  I stay at many hotels in the US because I travel a LOT and I can honestly say that I had the absolute BEST experience at this hotel . ❤️ SureStay by Best Western Royal Clipper , words can not describe how AMAZING you treat your guests ! I was sad to leave because I was treated like family and Josa at the front desk was wonderful, as well as the Manager he was such a kind hearted respectful man and both of them go above and beyond with everything they do there . The area is so safe and about a 2 minute walk to the beach . The rooms are spacious , very clean and when I first walked into the room it was like a breath of clean fresh air . I'm a person that notices everything, every detail and I have ZERO complaints. I stayed there with my son and we attended the Nas Oceana Air Show so the hotel was completely booked and it was quiet , relaxing and overall just an amazing experience. We also got to see the ocean from our room and the jets including the Blue Angels flew right over the hotel . My son and I thank you so so much for the amazing experience and we will definitely be back next year for the Air Show to stay longer than 4 nights, we may even be back sooner . Top of the line service , amazing staff that treats you like family, safe , fresh and clean , short walk to the beach, great price , free breakfast , on site parking , the list goes on with the great amenities this hotel has to offer. I highly without a doubt recommend SureStay by Best Western Royal Clipper to anyone looking to stay at Virginia Beach ! Thank you again! ❤️

  Shout out to my new Virginia Beach family. Brian the manager who felt like my favorite uncle upon meeting him and chatting. Ms. Josa the assistant manager is the best friend and sweetheart everyone should have the pleasure of meeting. These two made my end of the summer stay safe, fun, and full of peace with happiness. Traveling as a single female those things are important. The breakfast manager was always a warm welcoming delight every morning for breakfast. Breakfast was Continental style; the bagels, fruit and homemade waffles were always fresh and delicious. The key player in my great stay was the housekeeper. She does an impeccable job cleaning and sanitizing the rooms but more importantly every time she saw me, she'd ask me if I'd like some extra towels and would proceed to stock me up without me asking. Now that's customer service. I'll definitely recommend this Best Western to everyone. The hotel is quaint and not a big fancy skyscraper but the nostalgia is its charm. My daddy would have loved the old charm feel. The staff make your stay better, you don't feel like another number nor an annoying tourist nor as if you are asking too much. The cost you can't beat especially for the location. I truly would give each employee a trophy 🏆 for excellence. Thank you all. And God bless you all.
