However, Manny the manager on duty was super accommodating and was able to upgrade our room so my parents could join us for the weekend.

The bathroom shower pressure awesome. The sliding patio door was tight in the track making it hard to slide closed and attach locking latch. IHG members are verbally recognized at check in, and the hotel offers points for being "Green" in rooms. Hotel staff all friendly and polite. Location is great on the beach with awesome views and easy beach/boardwalk access. Parking garage is directly across the street but costs $10 per night and kind of dark and I didn't notice any cameras?. Convenience store (7-Eleven) located directly across the street. Lots of awesome restaurants very close by and in easy walking distance.
