This time...Hilton Honors members beware, the booking rate and room that you reserve on the app may not be what you get once you show up. I booked a corner beachfront room, but was not offered one at check in. Instead, they were "high floor" rooms for a $25 a night upgrade. What I was charged for the stay exceeded the quoted rate. Still a great motel and location.

Unfortunately, the hotel is very unclean — hallways, restaurant, pool area, and most common spaces were neglected. It feels overused and understaffed. Breakfast was like an overpriced Denny’s with dirty plates (see photos). We didn’t have to look for problems; they were everywhere.

The rolling chair was peeling apart, the shower doors had no bottom track, swung back & forth like they were gonna come off, shower door rubber seal hanging off, faucet fixtures didn't fit properly & loose & the sink faucet hot water was scalding hot practically as soon as it's turned on & 17th floor ice machine was caked with what looked like corrosion & was absolutely disgusting. Date of stay: October 2025 Room Tip: Don't stay here, because the customer service & amenities are not worth the prices charged.

When I called to see if cancellation was possible they did not inform me of the cancellation fee and went ahead and charged me. When I called to explain the situation and see if they would either rebook me or refund me, they said there was nothing they could do. I used to be a Hilton honors member but after this experience I will never again stay with them. Poor communication skills and lack of sympathy over the phone.
