I am titanium Marriott and Globalist Hyatt. I stopped staying at Hiltons years ago and now remember why. Book a room here that the pictures clearly showed a balcony. Checked in, and room had no balcony and they had no interest in fixing it even though I’m doing a status match currently with them to diamond. Stay somewhere else.

I was originally booked at Beach Quarters, but in the middle of my stay they relocated everyone to this hotel due to renovations. That alone was inconvenient, but the new hotel made the situation even worse. First, the parking setup is ridiculous. The parking structure isn’t even attached to the hotel — you have to walk across the street every time, which takes extra time, especially if you’re carrying bags or dealing with bad weather. On top of that, they gave me two separate pieces of paper: one for the parking pass and one to enter the structure. I have no idea why both are needed, but because I accidentally left one of them in my room, the parking structure charged me $50. Completely unnecessary and unfair. I originally booked Beach Quarters because it had a fitness center and was close to my work. This hotel is farther away and doesn’t even have a fitness center, so being moved here felt like a downgrade in every way. Overall, I would not advise staying at this hotel or Beach Quarters. The inconvenience, poor communication, and pointless extra fees made this one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I’ve had.

My husband and I came here for my birthday getaway and 2 days after checking in, there were baby roaches in the bathroom. I killed one in the middle of the night and the next morning my husband saw another. They offered to switch our room, but we were checking out the next morning so it was pointless. She then offered a late checkout, but we didnt want to stay any longer after that, especially after smelling strong bug spray in the elevator. Please take care of this. As an HGV owner, we expect and deserve much better.

Edit: When we asked the woman at the front desk about our room not being cleaned, she told us, "This is a resort, not a hotel." When we did request a room cleaning, housekeeping hung an extra Do Not Disturb sign on the door and didn't clean it. Stayed here for a week visiting family. We had a studio ocean view room (1810B). 18th floor looking out to the ocean. The view is absolutely amazing. The room is quite small, but did have a sink, fridge and small microwave. It also had a king bed and a small two person table along with a jet tub in the bathroom. The room also had a shared hallway with 1810A. If someone was talking in the hallway, it was very loud in our room. Our room was not cleaned every night, which I understand but that should be told to us when checking in. We ran out of coffee and clean towels so I called the f ont desk. The problem was no one answered. I called the front desk several times, but no one answered so I went down and asked for towels and coffee. The front desk person gave us coffee and said towels would be delivered to the room. Yep, they delivered the towels in a clear trash bag and just left them outside our room. Last night, the people in the adjoining room were partying really, really loudly. Again, I called the front desk from my room and my phone and no one answered. I went down to voice my compliant and security came up and told them to quite down. 15 minutes later they were yelling and screaming again and again, no answer from the front desk. Again, I went down (now midnight) and asked the person how do I get a hold of the front desk. He told me he was busy and can't answer the phone. Again, security came up to tell them to quite down. We were awoken at 3AM and 4AM by screaming next door and again, no answer by the front desk. Beautiful view, nice area of the boardwalk, but horrendous service and some really, really loud patrons. I would expect much, much more from a Hilton hotel where I'm dropping over $1,000 for a room. I will never stay here again and it brings the entire brand into question for me. There is no way I would stay here again regardless of how beautiful the view is.

🚨🚨🚨🚨Make sure you know that if two people drive in separate cars. You will be paying $75 for the second car. First time I see this. Quite too expensive.
