The hotel room was very clean, and the ocean view was great. The staff and service were also good — everyone we encountered was nice and professional. One front desk employee didn’t seem to be having the best day, but she still helped us out, so it wasn’t a big issue. Breakfast was good, just a standard hotel breakfast. I can’t say much about the location since the city was preparing for a winter storm, so there wasn’t much to see or do during our stay.

Amazing location ON the beach, with ample free street parking during the offseason and a decent breakfast. Unfortunately, we ran into a few major issues: homeless folks coming in and taking many of the breakfast items, with the security “guard” busy having his breakfast in the back room instead of addressing it. Wouldn’t have been an issue if the folks coming in didn’t cough all over the food as if making a statement as they took stacks of plates. Dog pee in the elevator, likely from the guests attracted to the low rates. Our smokeless room had constant cigarette smells, so we left our deck door open to the 40 degree weather which we didn’t mind. Our sink faucet dribbled out, virtually no water pressure. Thankfully the shower was fine. Also, even when set in the 70s our air conditioner cycled on frequently so we had wild temperature swings. We paid a very low rate during the off season so we enjoyed our time, but I would be more upset and make complaints if we paid 200+ /night. We had a better experience with amenities and hotel conditions at an Econ lodge the week prior. Staff besides Celeste seemed completely detached from their jobs, and clearly they either see the breakfast as a community service or something that doesn’t need monitoring.
Updated my review lower: they also charged me for parking I didn’t use.
Also, love how the general managers “is sorry about my feelings” rather than noting an actionable response to addressing a real problem. I’m sorry the general manager feels that they can place the burden of feeding the general public on the backs of paying guests that cover their margins. I’m sure it will greatly help the success of the hotel and growth of its revenue. Set up a program to serve the food after guests have finished or something: we lost access to the breakfast amenities after the folks that came in cleared out trays of food. It wasn’t just “discomfort” it was tangible, negative impact at the expense of paying guests.

.On the boardwalk. Room was cleaned daily. Breakfast has waffle machine, yogurt, bagels, eggs, sausage and others. There is a bar connected to the lounge which makes it easy to get drinks and late nite snacks. The hotel staff is exceptionally friendly and always ready to assist with any request, making each guest feel welcome and valued. In the evenings, the lounge often hosts live music, creating a vibrant and relaxing atmosphere where guests can unwind after a day of exploring. For those looking to stay active, the fitness center is well-equipped, offering everything from weights to cardio machines. Just steps away from the beach, it's the perfect spot for morning jogs along the shore or simply enjoying the stunning sunsets. Whether you're here for a family vacation or a romantic getaway, this destination offers a delightful blend of comfort and convenience.

Arrived to the most friendly and accommodating guest service representative. She was absolutely amazing. Rooms are clean and new feeling. Very comfortable stay. We came for the light show. You can see a good amount of it from the hotel balcony. The hotel is located at the very start of the light show. Will come back down again
