- ILIris LassiterJan 3, 20263.0We are Hilton Honors Gold Members. We travel for work and business and have found Hilton to be one of the best. This hotel needs some help. We arrived before 3 and mentioned to the young women at the front desk we requested early check in. She looked at us and said rather abruptly, that is not a guarantee. Our interactions with her went down hill from there. We had to ask for water once we checked in and received nothing else. We were called at least daily by the concierge who wanted to sell us a time share . The morning breakfast was nice and the hospitality staff were friendly and accommodating. Management needs to spend some time with the front line people so the experience starts on a positive.

- DYDennis YoungDec 3, 20253.0We have stayed at this Hampton Inn a number of times before and we drove a few hundred miles to stay here again on our way home after Thanksgiving. This time of year VA Beach is sparsely attended. The very nice lady at check in informed us of the new policy of hotels here to charge $20/ night for parking because of locals parking in previous free parking lots. Sorry but that’s a problem for the hotels to solve and not impose a solution on returning guests. Might zi suggest to corporate Hilton Honors that they charge guests but refund the charge on check out the way hotels charge an incidental fee on your credit card but refund it if no damages or charges? If not, nevertheless this is a problem you need to solve. Until then we are no longer customers here. Show your loyalty to your loyalty customers.
