The staff, from valet to the hotel maintenance guys, went above and beyond at every turn—warm, attentive, and always smiling. THANK YOU, Nick, Bryan, Ryan, Chris, Jonathan, Damien and Charlese!!! The room was immaculate, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable with thexception of the beds (too firm); I slept just as good here as I do at home. Every detail felt thoughtful, from the luxurious amenities to the peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast was outstanding, with fresh, high-quality options, and the location couldn’t have been more convenient. This hotel didn’t just meet expectations—it exceeded them in every possible way. - AYAutumn YatesJan 4, 20265.0If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! My family of four stayed in a two-room suite with two queen beds, and our room was modern, clean, and very comfortable. Even though we didn't have an "ocean view room", we still had a partial side view of the beach (I took the photos below of the sunrise from our balcony). The hotel is situated right on the beach, and the amenities are great. The free breakfast was delicious - shout-out to Rio at the omelet station! Lora at the hostess stand was lovely, too. The daily Happy Hour included two free drinks per adult and free snacks for everyone (example: one night there was a veggie tray, cheese, crackers, chips and salsa). My kids loved the indoor pool, and there are resort activities, too; we got to meet and pet a giant lizard at their exotic animal encounter. You are also allowed two 2-hr complimentary bike and/or metal detector rentals per room (and I believe they have free beach chair rentals in the summer months). When not on the property, we went for a hike at nearby First Landing State Park and visited the 1st Street Playground right on the beach. We had a fabulous off-season family vacation thanks to the Embassy, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!

The staff is friendly and always willing to help. I paid $32 a day for valet parking, which is only $7 more than self-parking, so it’s a no-brainer. The valet staff is quick and friendly. If you’re looking for a nice place to stay for vacation, check out this beautiful resort.

The gentleman at the omelette station was so amazing and catered to us! The icing on the cake was when the Grinch showed up during breakfast. I can’t wait to come back to this property whenever I’m back in Virginia Beach
