Great location next to a bustling area in capital one. Excellent amenities. Welcoming and helpful staff, specially Heidy at the reception desk. Room design is immaculate. Everything is well thought. One remark, I wish they add a note about the possibility to order utensils. I loved the duckie in the shower. I liked how the lifts work with the card but accessing the parking could be confusing at times.
As a frequent traveler, I can see the potential in this hotel, but I agree with some of the comments made here regarding the front desk and guest relations—they urgently NEED BETTER training.
The check-in experience was awkwardly not welcoming at all; the staff I met at the front desk felt super cold and detached. On the bright side, breakfast location was delightful.
Accessing the right floor with the elevator ( reading the key room) was challenging, and getting basic supplies was unnecessarily difficult.
In summary, while the room and building are quit nice, the service approach comes off as rigid and unaccommodating. A touch of warmth and flexibility would go a long way in making guests feel truly valued rather than just managed.im not coming back since the area has several truly welcoming and solid options.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience truly deserves one.
The issue was not about the policy — it was about the attitude. I politely asked whether a 10-minute late check-out would be possible. Instead of receiving a professional or courteous response, I was met with a cold, dismissive tone and a rigid “You must leave by 12. If you want more time, book another full night.”
There was no attempt to assist, no explanation delivered with basic courtesy, and no effort to make a guest feel respected. Hospitality is not just about enforcing rules — it’s about how you communicate them.
I travel frequently and stay in many hotels, and I have never experienced such unnecessary hostility over a simple question. Even a polite “Unfortunately we’re fully booked and unable to extend checkout today” would have been completely understandable.
Instead, the interaction felt transactional and unfriendly — which is disappointing for any hotel that claims to value guest experience.
Management should seriously reconsider how front desk staff are trained in customer service.
Very disappointing experience.

Apparently the property didn’t appreciate the detailed review left previously, hence their petty and flowery AI-generated response. I’ll make it even easier on them and edit the review down to a clear and precise accounting:
The Watermark in Tysons has an incredibly beautiful veneer. It’s all style and very little substance. If you’re looking for anything close to a luxury stay, look elsewhere.
Absolutely nothing was broken or dirty. In fact, the room was immaculate and comfortable. The staff was kind, patient, and professional. I loved their rock & roll tee shirts. The Wren restaurant is a jewel with a superb Japanese menu.
The problem is that for the price, there are simply very few amenities. The Watermark is basically a corporate extended stay dressed up to be a boutique experience.
No room service. Exceptionally bland and basic breakfast buffet. For nearly $400 a night, you’d expect that there’d at least be complimentary bottled water? Bathrobes? Nope. If you need waters or snacks, head on down to the lobby and grab something from their convenience area, where the unlit fridge is stocked full of Lean Cuisine. That’s all. 2 bottled waters, 2 small snacks, and 3 sodas cost around $50.
If you’re out for the night and want a comfortable place to stay and maybe enjoy the afters, this isn’t bad. You’ll have some powdered eggs, frozen potatoes, rubbery sausage and stale pastry to nurse that hangover. No gravy though.
If you are looking for an elegant stay akin to what you might get across the way at the Archer, for example, just go with the Archer.

This hotel is a standout and easily one of my favorite staycation spots. Its prime Tysons location puts you within walking distance of Tysons Corner Center, Tysons Galleria, Wegmans, and several upscale dining options. With Perch Put located on the first level, the hotel feels like a destination in itself rather than just a place to stay.
The rooms are impressively spacious, featuring a separate living area, sofa, and kitchenette. The bathroom is sleek and modern, complete with a bright LED mirror that’s perfect for getting ready and a dual-head shower that adds a spa-like touch. The inclusion of a white noise machine is thoughtful and makes for an incredibly restful night.
Additional perks include EV charging stations, ample parking, and the ability to cast streaming services to both bedroom and living room TVs. Breakfast isn’t gourmet, but there’s enough variety to put together a satisfying meal. The gym is larger than average and well-equipped.
I’ve stayed here three times now and would absolutely return. Be sure to check out the speakeasy—the service, drinks, and food were surprisingly excellent.
