Thank you Semeatria for the smooth check in during our stay. We appreciate the hospitality you gave us during our time at the Doubletree Richmond Airport. The rooms are very clean and staff is professional. I was here on business for 3 days. The food that was provided from the hotel was very delicious and healthy options! I highly recommend this hotel as they offer a shuttle and it’s near the airport.

Rooms are usually nice but check if everything works before unpacking.
1st night on a 4 night stay I had to change rooms after unpacking because the ac/furnace didn't work as well as the fridge. They transfered me to another room which had a door that looked like it was pried open before.
2nd night found out my hotel phone didn't work in the new room and outlet near bed didn't work. To top it off got stuck in the elevator for 15 min.
3rd night Firealarm went off around 7pm couldn't get back in for about an hour faulty alarm the fireman stated.
4th night room card didn't work and Firealarm went off again around 7pm again luckily only lasted 15min but if there's a real fire how do you know what's real and what's real. This brings me to my rating of 2
The rooms are nice recently remodeled. But they need to fix more than polishing the appearance and focus on important ammendaties, like firealarms, HVAC maintenance, refrigerators, and elevator maintenance.
This could of been just a single bad trip but hope this info helps others to be aware of.

From the moment I arrived, my experience was off to a great start thanks to the outstanding professionalism of Semeatria during check-in. She was courteous, patient, and incredibly attentive, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. Even though my stay was just one night, the level of service I received made it feel well worth every dollar. It’s refreshing to be welcomed by someone who genuinely takes pride in their work and makes guests feel valued. Excellent first impression and a wonderful overall experience—I would happily stay here again.

I’m most of the way through a several-day drive from Florida to Connecticut, and of the several hotels I’ve stayed at in that time, I can say that the service and breakfast at Doubletree and Hilton was BY FAR the best!
I specifically was blown away by the breakfast over at Doubletree. I’d paid for it along with my room, and went there December 15th planning to grab a quick bite for fuel to drive the rest of the day…but for better or worse, I stuffed myself for almost an hour like a kid in a candy store.
The hostess, Debra, was extremely pleasant and set me up, asked how the food was, and even took her time (she was busy but everyone was well cared for) to ask about my trip and stay and how I was doing. Above and beyond in my book…plus, when I asked her how many people it took to make all that good food, she said she was alone today as her coworker was out!
I’m impressed easily I admit - I’m a bachelor who subsists mostly on frozen food - but I know my hotels and breakfasts, for sure. This one, and Hilton overall, is worth staying at…and make sure you get breakfast if Debra is working.
