- CMCindy Mann3 days ago5.0Hotel has always been very clean every time I’ve stayed. It is typical Avid where it’s smaller rooms and very much like a dorm room. Perfect for a night or two while traveling. :)
- KLKimberly LewisonMar 31, 20265.0I check the bed at every hotel I stay at. This hotel looks brand new. The bed bug cover is a fitted sheet, but the mattress is new. The mini fridge is very mini. Ac gets nice and cold. The shower gets hot and is powerful. Just like I like. They have the reusable soaps on the wall. I don't use those but they are there. Breakfast is ok. Standard like most other hotels. Nothing fancy. I do like how they keep the tea and coffee out all day. They have flavored cream for the coffee.

- ACAnna CMar 11, 20265.0An excellent hotel to stay at, especially if you are looking for a clean room to sleep in with kind staff, while spending the day exploring the area. My husband and I stayed here for two nights when we came into town for a concert and also planned to hike on a nearby part of the Appalachian Trail. The staff, especially Tara who checked us in and provided great local restaurant recommendations, were kind and helpful. I happened to mention to Tara that we had taken the trip to celebrate our birthdays, and the next day a card with birthday wishes and signatures from her and many other staff members slid under our room door. It was such an unexpected and sweet gesture and we were truly touched. The complimentary breakfast had a good amount of options and was as good as a free hotel breakfast can be. Overall, we were impressed. I generally only stay at Marriotts, but will definitely include Avid on my list of good, affordable hotels in the future.

Great service and nice clean rooms with complimentary breakfast included. Great location just besides highway. Frontdesk was so kind to extend check out time for no additional charges since boys needed to take shower after the last game before check out. Would highly recommend this place.
