Excellent stay at this Home2Suites. When I checked in around 7:00pm, Alison at the front desk was really helpful to me as I need extra quiet rooms due to sensitivity to noise and vibration (from chemo neuropathy side effect). She is friendly and competent and should be running the place! Promote her to management as soon as possible and this hotel will be in good hands. The only negative was that the breakfast buffet had already run out of most of the food long before breakfast ended. Whoever is responsible for that needs to step it up. I know this isn’t a high-end property, but still, shouldn’t have empty items.

Amazing place!! The front desk Nakita was very nice the other lady was amazing as well. The evening guy not very nice kind of rude actually. I didn’t let his bad attitude ruin my amazing stay with the home 2 suites by Hilton! The front desk lady’s helped me when the third party booking.com couldn’t do anything and tried to make it harder on us to book my night that I messed up but still the front desk ladies were so amazing. Shortly afterward we found out the pool was closed after going in with our keys letting us open the door a paper was on the floor but I didn’t pay any attention who would the pool and the hot tub were calling our name. Anyway a housekeeper came to drop towels off picks something up ( the paper I guess) the paper that was held on by one piece of regular tape btw. The. Then the evening guy came saying you can’t be in here all rude telling him my key let me in and I didn’t see any paper but on the floor. Then he says I put this here this morning very rudely but then the lady at the front desk said she put it on their last night at closing so someone was lieing.. I wasn’t because my key let me in if the pools closed you think it would be locked but anyway. I left with a full refund and everyone was happy will stay again!

Stayed at the Hilton Roanoke again this week, and had another great stay. Yes, the property is currently being updated; however, the disruptions during the hours that guests are actually in the property (overnight, short stays) are minimal. My room had already been updated (new paint, carpet, furnishings, etc.) and was quite nice (typical of a Home 2). Common areas (elevators, reception, etc.) are still in the process of being updated, but did not effect my stay. The renovations appear to be updates (painting, carpet, furnishings, etc.) as opposed to actual construction and are confined to daytime hours (beginning at 9am after most guests have departed). Hotel is conveniently located just off I-81 and close to airport within a larger shopping complex. Plenty of shopping and eating options that are within walking distance. I travel with my fur baby and property is perfect for pet parents. Plenty of space to walk pets away from the Interstate/busy roadways and hotel provides a quiet respite for travelers. Property is well-lit for late arrivals and guest safety. Bonus is that Roanoke is nestled in the Blue Ridge mountains and hotel offers amazing views. I am in Roanoke several times a year and this is my go to... staff, especially AGM, Antony, are very welcoming and helpful and treat guests like family. Will be sure to add photos on my next trip.

I love the rooms at this hotel. The only reason I give it four stars is it is LOUD!!! If I stayed again I would request a room upstairs (I was on the first floor closer to the lobby.) The people and tv in the adjacent room were SO loud the entirety of my stay that I had to turn on my own tv to drown them out... which defeats the purpose of seeking peace and quiet. It's a family hotel, so the lobby is bustling, adding to the noise. If the room next to me had not been so loud, however, I think the stay would have been pleasant.

We have been frequenting this establishment bi-weekly since October 2025. Generally, the property is well-kept and has recently undergone renovations. The staff members are consistently friendly and accommodating. There are a few matters I would like to bring to the attention of management, which I have previously discussed with the front desk staff on multiple occasions, and I consistently receive the same response. 1. One of the washing machines has been out of service since October. The recurring explanation is that it is being worked on or a part has been ordered. 2. The silverware presented for breakfast does not appear to be very sanitary. It is all placed loosely in pull-out drawers beneath the counter. The items are not wrapped in napkins or enclosed in silverware sleeves. When we do grab a bite l will get a cup of hot water to sterilize them before use. 3. The breakfast quality is, at best, mediocre. The hot food items are typically not hot or even warm, and frequently, the meat is quite dry. Breakfast is advertised from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. I have been present on several occasions, attempting to get hot tea and juice at 8:45 a.m. and 8:50 a.m., only to find the staff already closing curtains, shutting down machines, and removing food. I have had to inform the front desk agent multiple times, and they have then requested the staff to stop.
