While the rooms are good the remodel is already aging badly and the rooms lack modern amenities like working smart tvs. Have also had multiple instances of the ac units for rooms not working requiring a change in room. Response below from the hotel was one of the worst examples of corporate weasel speak I have seen in years. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel if management is going to so insincerly respond to the concerns of guests.

The staff and management made us feel welcome. One of the staff members Summer even offered us a safe ride home in case we were snowed in. I have MS/ so i had a lot of fears going on a mini vacation ..but Summer put me right at ease. The room was immaculate. The new upgrades to the hotel did not go unnoticed. They were beautiful. I appreciate the fact that Holiday Inn Tanglewood Roanoke Va. made this event affordable for families and friends. The front desk was super friendly and accommodating. The people in charge of running Mysticon were proffessional and entertaining. I really hope Mysticon becomes an annual event again.. Highlights of Mysticon during our stay. Karaoke 🎤 and Murder Mystery. Thanks again everyone for a job well done!
