I checked in on 1/5. The gentleman working the front desk was very friendly, helpful, and informative. I did request a room on an upper floor facing the view of the city. He never hesitated to make the request. My daughter who had cancer had an appointment at the children's hospital across the street and she loves the view of the city. The room was very clean, the lobby was exquisite, and the vibe was calm. We really enjoyed our stay. The lady at check out the next day was also very friendly and helpful. Thank you for such an amazing stay!!

Really nice hotel. Relatively clean and the bed was so comfy. I always love a good mountain view. The chef on Friday night, Jeff, cooked a completely rubberized chicken breast. It literally felt like they microwaved it frozen. The server was so embarrassed she comped our dinner and breakfast the next morning. She was lovely herself though. For breakfast, the server and chef were both amazing. I unfortunately did not catch their names but i shouldve because they were great! They did everything they could possibly do for us and more. They definitely made my 6 year olds morning better. It was like a completely different hotel from night to day. Morning people were definitely morning people, and the night shift must just be there for a paycheck.

This was a nice clean hotel but the bed was like sleeping on a wooden board with hard thick crispy sheets that had a couple of stains on it. The shampoo dispenser in the shower was totally empty but I use the body gel to wash my hair. I've also never stayed somewhere where they charge you $8.99 for the Continental breakfast, everywhere else I've been has been complementary Continental. I will be staying in Roanoke quite often since some of my family has moved there, but I will be looking elsewhere to lay my head

We stopped to stay on our way to our Christmas destination. The front desk employee was super friendly (especially for being after midnight when we checked in). The hotel beds are incredibly comfortable! We slept better than other resort beds we've stayed at in the past. The towels are pristine and fresh. The room was very clean. Would highly recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful experience at the Hilton Garden Inn. Even though it was only one night and the indoor pool wasn’t heated so our grandchildren could swim, the generosity and hospitalizations shown by the staff was incredible. Of particular mention, the chef, James took great care of us and even made a special ice cream sundae for my two granddaughters when he heard about the pool. Also Tavares (TV) was tending bar and working breakfast the next morning. He took equal great care of us and was truly a pleasure to get to know. Thank you both for your big hearts and kindness. We will definitely be back! John L
