  Bed was super comfy and clean, room was great. Bathroom was clean and same with shower. Parking is $20 overnight. Staff was friendly and helpful when trying to find the hotel and checking in. In a great location, would stay here again.

  Raja H. was incredibly helpful with his expert assistance during our recent stay at the Holiday Inn Express Downtown in Richmond, VA. Very polite and knowledgeable about the area. A great member to have on any hotel staff.

  Nice room and downtown location but the AC kinda sucks. Rooms are super noisy and you can hear everything in the halls. We had children running up and down the halls at 7am. Easily can hear doors slamming. Attempted to call front desk and no answer. It's a cheaper place at least for Richmond and these are the reasons. Parking is $20 a day.

  Stayed at this hotel for the 2026 NCUR, rooms were nice and breakfast was good. What made my experience exceptional was the nice man at the front desk. I believe his name was Robert and he greeted us each time we came through the lobby. He was extremely helpful all around the clock!

  As far as Holiday inns are concerned, this one was quite nice and the staff - even nicer. It was a few blocks from the convention center and it was my first time in downtown Richmond so yes, I did get lost but that was on me. As far as pricing is concerned - I was there for Galaxy con And they were the least expensive option. I expected worse and was pleasantly surprised. My only qualm was my shower. Little too old school, no shower wand, a slightly upgraded spigot instead. I was able to take a bath and it was nice after all that walking, but that would have be the literal only upgrade I would suggest for the rooms. The breakfast was good, not the largest variety, but what they had was well worth it And they are located in a relatively nice area - it's still the city - but for where they are, I never once felt unsafe walking at night and they're right around the corner from some decent food selections specifically the smokehouse and the Jamaican place. Highly recommend both. This hotel is worth your time and money if you're looking for something budget friendly.
