    Front desk staff and breakfast servers very welcoming . Beds were clean as well as bathroom. Room was in need of attention as were hallways … dark and old. Noise was an issue for sleep .

    I got a $250 charge for cleaning fee!!! They are saying my dog peed and pooped all over the room and I received a photo with 2 yellow dots on the carpet! This is the evidence? The photo could be taken in any room and doesn’t say my room number and all room has the same carpet! Stay away from that hotel!!

    My worst experience in a Hampton Inn. First I spotted a black substance in the AC unit and I've attached a picture. The next morning I coughed up blood randomly. Next, there was a white cotton substance on the floor and a paper cup under the bed upon my arrival. Additionally, the fitness center was trash. Specifically, the elliptical is broken and the bench is unstable and missing parts. Lastly, the key cards malfunctioned and had to be replaced daily.

    This is the absolute worst Hampton Inn you could ever have the misfortune of trying to book a room at. We really got scammed here and neither corporate nor the staff at this location are willing to help at all. We regularly travel to and from Georgia and New York with our two kids. Often we try to stay in southern VA because it’s a good stopping point if you’re trying to do the trip in two days. We often book our room while traveling by first calling the hotel and setting up our stay before we arrive. When we booked our room we were told that we could have two double beds, one for us and one for the kids. We arrived at the hotel after a long drive at around 9pm only to find out that they have oversold the location and could only offer us a room with a king bed. We respectfully declined the room and told them that the accommodations will not work because there are four of us and only one bed. We were told that the room was cancelled and that we wouldn’t be charged for the initial booking since they couldn’t provide us with the necessary accommodations. We gave them about 7-10 days to process the refund and after multiple calls to the location and to corporate, still no refund. We filed a claim with our credit card company and the hotel is claiming that we are being charged a “no show fee” of $193.00. This is a scam, we were there in person and cancelled just a couple of hours after the booking. This is really bad business and nobody at corporate is willing to step in and help, they’re claiming that it has to be the hotel itself that issues the refund. We’re at a loss after being scammed at this place. I would highly avoid staying here or even trying to book a room!!

    Great staff at check in. Location is super convenient. Rooms however are a different story. Very old, outdated and beat up furniture. Pillows are child size and carpet is covered in spots. Two paper cups is all you get, not even a plastic water cup. Bedside plugs are old and only one on each side. This hotel needs some serious facelift.
