    Always like staying at a Hampton Inn. This one isn't bad and service was great! I ended up with an unwanted friend though... but fortunately just one. Nearby restaurants and amenities are a bit limited if walking but there is a Subway and Shell nearby for food and drink. Also right across from a bar and grill. If you have a car, then there seems to be a lot of good Mexican food choices nearby. Everything else was great!

    Stayed here two nights, clean and comfortable room. The breakfast area was clean and well stocked. The staff were friendly. I would recommend staying here.

    The front desk lady, Christina, was amazing professional and fast. Our room was just what we needed and at great price point. I can’t wait for breakfast in the morning. Highly recommend!

    Look, we all know hotel breakfast isn't meant to compete. No one really craves it but hey, a yogurt before hitting the road maybe a shrivelled up once-was a hotdog? Yeah, sure, please and thank you; we can all agree that must be the barest minimun of a 'luxury' hotel and it's supposed to be... there... even if it's not earth shattering cuisine. But nope, not the Richmond South Hampton Inn. Defying not only the basic hospitality required to honor the automated promises cheerily delivered by the phone answering system, this special franchise is also happy to disregard the standard basic tenent of an entire worldwide brand if you show up on a day they're just not feeling it. I mean; at least they did warn us that because 'only like 6 people are staying here' not to expect anything in the AM. Sucks to suck I guess
