Truly a great experience. Room was spacious , bed was extremely comfortable and staff was very friendly. Sam at the front desk always had a smile and welcomed my team and I in. At one point I needed an extra towel and she quickly helped. Would come again.

Come on guys… you can do better than this. The staff is great and the breakfast is great. Parking isn’t an issue and they do honor status upgrades, however, the rest is downhill from there. My main gripe is the water pressure. I get hiltons are trying to save money at every turn but I can’t stand when they use low pressure shower heads. It’s more of a sprinkle as apposed to a shower. Saving money at the comfort of guests does not go unnoticed. Considering this is one of the most important features to me, I remove one star right off the bat just for this. Ironically enough, the toilets have a huge tank where each time you flush, ~3-4 gallons of water get used. Obviously shower heads are cheaper than toilets but if the hotel is trying to save money on water… Perhaps spend a bit more on items that can make a difference without sacrificing guest comfort. Another star was removed due to the condition of the place. It appears they had a leak on the roof. The repairs were done poorly as shown in the pictures. Even some of the wallpaper peeled off the wall and was left to sit that way. The poor plastering job was obvious as was the silicone around the shower. Doesn’t anyone inspect repairs or are repairs done in hopes a guest brings it to the hotels attention? Another star was removed due to sanitary conditions. The A/C filters look like they haven’t been cleaned in who knows how long. Take a look at the supplied pictures. The buildup of dust, dander and whatever else floating around is easily visible in the filters. Because they are not cleaned often, mildew grows on the exterior vents. This is what your guests are breathing in. This implies poor cleaning where the housekeepers follow a mandatory routine (vacuum, wipe downs, replacing toiletries, etc..) but do not go the extra gambit of cleaning necessary sections of the room. Even the ceiling vents in the ceiling have dust build up. The fire suppression devices is completely corroded. Will it even engage in the event of a fire? I’m sorry I had to write this but these are serious complaints that require attention. I have reviewed other hotels and am very fair with my reviews. I honestly don’t like leaving bad reviewed but can’t, with good conscience give 5 stars based on the above mention. Hopefully, this Hilton will correct all the flaws mentioned above in hopes it can be a more enjoyable stay. I may return in a few months in hopes I will change my review based on the updates completed (if any). Some upgrades I would recommend besides the obvious mentioned above… 55” TV’s as seen at other Hilton’s. Makes a big difference. A courtesy EV charger for guests driving electric cars. It cost ~$7 to charge an EV. Negligible in cost for the hotel but will definitely be a big deal to EV drivers. It’s even realistic to believe that someone will book this hotel based on the fact that you have a charger onsite. Quite frankly, it’ll be the only Hilton in ST Petersburg with an EV charger onsite. I certainly hope management will take heed of this review and move forward in making these notable changes.

I stayed her for work on Tuesday 12/9 and everything went great. Service was AMAZING from staff and housekeeping was great but I did have one issue. The room by us I believe 103 was making constant noise throughout the night and woke me and my husband 4 or 5 times throughout the night. When I called the front desk they said there was nobody in that room which is odd I seen a man come out of the room when checking in. But they were very nice and offered to move us.

Room had an "old" smell too it ... nothing that wasn't cured with a little perfume-y product sprayed by my teen daughter and her friend. Location can't be beat - we were in town for a soccer tournament and this hotel was close to the fields, close to things to keep our girls entertained while waiting for the next game and close to plenty of good food options. Have to give some props to the general manager at this location. My daughter left her toiletry bag behind and despite our best efforts to have a member of our team retrieve it, something happened and the bag is MIA. The GM reached out after several days and is working to rectify the situation. His efforts are much appreciated and have helped to reassure us that Hampton Inn is worthy of our trust and future business.
