    So I've been here before always great experience and normally im not one to complain or be a karen(trying not to be now...).... today checking is was great n quick friendly got to my room had to pee so bad. Toilet seat had pee on it. Not clean.... no biggy. Grabbed house keeper few doors down. Can u clean the toilet really quick. She looked at toilet. told me to tell front desk that its not her room. I said can I just get some spray n something to clean it with I dont mind doing it really quick.... no tell front desk. Please talk to this girl. That is crazy. N no it's not a language barrier. The front desk manager gentleman actually came and cleaned it himself smh. Thank u sir u are great and very much appreciated but she needs some guidance...

    Management sucks. Don't stay here. We had a reservation that was prepaid and due to the winter storm we were unable to drive to Richmond. I requested the hotel for a refund, but their "district manager" said no. Even if the front desk person called them. I will be disputing it with my credit card and they can fight with them.

    Room is immaculate. Very comfortable bed and the couch is a nice touch. Front desk service is excellent. You couldn't expect anything more.

    Darryl who checked us in and out was wonderful to work with. The location was convenient and the breakfast bar was excellent !! We highly recommend this Hampton Inn.

    I've stayed at this hotel twice both for work. Room was reserved and payed for by my company. The first was niether good nor bad I have no complaints. The 2nd time, I approached the counter to check in. The hotel staff member was on a personal call,which I would not have considered unprofessional, except that he had his phone on speaker. He checked me in then after the fact began telling me how he shouldn't have checked me in because there was no physical credit card. If he shouldn't have checked me in, then I shouldn't have had the room keys in my hand. This made me me unwelcome, and unwanted at that hotel. There is a way to do it without a physical card, your staff member is either lazy or poorly trained or both. This is unacceptable behavior in a hospitality environment. Do better, will not be personally booking any Hampton inn stays.
