The location is fairly close to Altria Theater but not really close to other attractions, restaurants, and shopping.

I booked through a third party (first mistake) and was not able to make it on time on the first day of my reservation (second mistake). According to third party everything was good to go for me to check in the next day. When I arrived I was told that I was a no-show and my reservation had been cancelled. After some back and forth with the third party, and nothing getting fixed, I finally got to Miss Tammy at the Graduate. She was not only able to handle my issue but appeared to be juggling at least two other issues with ease. She was professional, stayed calm, was kind, and most importantly, fixed my problem! This woman absolutely deserves a raise. The hotel is beautiful and right at the heart of downtown Richmond. If you are visiting VCU then this is the perfect spot! The rooms are clean and a good size. The beds are comfortable.
