I'm torn on this one.
I like Embassy Suites. The suites have been renovated and I like the furnishings, desk space and the room length shelf....that being said, there are issues here.
First, it doesn't even look like the bathroom were touched. They are ridiculously small, but even worse, it looks like they've just slapped 8 coats of paint over the door trims, especially at the bottom, to "hide" whatever is going on there...it certainly looked like some type of rot. The caulking could stand to be ripped up and re-done. The carpet to the bathroom and into the laminate flooring had no transition strips. It's literally just frayed carpet and an inch or so gap to the laminate..very odd.
Safety wise, there were no working lights in the parking lot for the nights we were there....
The location is great. Close to so much. The lobby and common areas were fantastic. Breakfast crew is so very friendly. The front desk team was hit or miss. Great upon check-in but other times you'd walk past them and they wouldn't even look at you and would just carry on in their conversation.
This place is gross and dirty. Mold in the shower and looks like someone rubbed their dirty butt on the couch. Looks like they tried to update and remodel but they did it on the cheap. Couldn’t even put in transition strips to cover the ratty ends of the carpet leading into the sitting area and bathroom. Switched rooms after the first bathroom had a leak and soaked the carpet in the bedroom area. Those nasty corner pics are of 2 separate rooms. We stayed here for free because of our rewards. Never again even if it is for free.

My husband and I stayed at Embassy Suites this weekend to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. We intentionally chose this hotel because we’ve known it in the past to be clean, comfortable, and a reliable place to relax. Unfortunately, from start to finish, our entire stay was disappointing.
At the evening reception, there were fruit flies everywhere around the cantaloupe, pineapple, tortilla chips, salsa, and ranch dressing. It was unsanitary and difficult to ignore. This is not what we expect from a brand like Embassy Suites.
When we entered our room, several of the towels had visible red hair on them. That immediately made us question the cleanliness of the room overall. For a milestone anniversary trip meant for rest and restoration, this was unacceptable.
I went to the front desk to address our concerns, but the system was down and the associate was checking guests in using a three-ring binder. While this was clearly unfortunate for the staff, operational issues should not impact guest experience at this level.
The pool was also unusable. The water appeared murky, with slime and excessive bubbles on top — almost like the Blue Lagoon. We will be including photos. The children were unable to swim and had to go next door to another hotel in cold weather just to use their pool. Swimming is typically the highlight of a hotel stay, and that experience was taken away.
To be clear, these issues were not isolated moments — they defined our stay.
The only redeeming aspects of this visit were the night manager, the young lady working at check-in around 7 PM, and the bartender. They were professional, kind, and the only highlights of our experience. Their service stood in sharp contrast to the overall condition of the property.
This was not the anniversary experience we anticipated, and unfortunately, this stay has changed our perception of Embassy Suites. We hope management takes these concerns seriously and addresses the cleanliness and maintenance standards immediately.

This place had the illest (nice, white folks) rooms for a cost effective price. I liked this hotel room so much that I’m likely to use these rooms on future trips. A lounge connected to the bedroom with the bathroom in the middle?? Yeah. And the front desk staff was nice too.
Definitely needs updating, the bathrooms are obnoxiously small, like you have to close the bathroom door just to use the toilet small, two people Definitely can't fit at the same time and the couch had "stains" the pillows are as flat as the bed. Breakfast was good at least.
