Online the hotel looked amazing. The front desk was great and VERY friendly. But upon entering the room, I used the sink to grab my dog some water in the kitchen area and out of no where water was pouring out from the ceiling all over me. The lady at the front desk was apologetic and gave us another room. Unfortunately the second room wasn't much better. It was extremely humid and the thermostat wouldn't go below 76. I also looked and there were signs of water damage and musty mold smells. I am extremely sensitive to mold and I didn't last more than 30 minutes there. Thankfully we are being refunded. We went across the street to the home2suites which was cheaper with updated rooms. I never leave a negative Google comment, yet alone leave a hotel but the rooms need remediation. Couldn't post the video unfortunately

As a Hilton honors member, I have stayed in hiltons many times, however I wished I had read the reviews for this location. I stayed one night the first room the toilet didn’t flush, room needed updating, the second room that I was given the heating didn’t work, the third room also on the second floor the toilet didn’t flush no water to the sink.. the fourth room was on the third floor no hot water to sink, tub was leaking room needed updating. Management did provide a discount but this location does hold up to Hilton standards. Room really needs to be updated.

When we go to Henrico, Virginia. We always stay at the Embassy Suites in Henrico. The rooms are awesome and kept very clean, the front staff and house keeping are awesome and very friendly. The breakfast are even better. Darrell and Yvonne are great and the women that makes the pancakes and omelettes, Jasmine, is always cherry and eager to cook your omelette to perfection 🤤 I highly recommend the bar and complimentary two happy hour drinks. We sat and watched the College playoff games and had an amazing time drinking and eating and didn't have to worry about a designated driver 🤓 If you are ever going to Henrico, Virginia, you have got to stay at the Henrico Embassy Suites 😎

Our experience at this hotel was average. We stayed on the 6th floor for three nights. The room service was subpar. At times, the front desk had to be called to collect the overflowing trash. Additionally, we requested assistance in resetting the safe code, but we never received any response. We had booked a suite on the 8th floor, but we were informed that it was off-limits, even though we could see other guests staying there.

It was a nice hotel at first glance but there are some downsides. The rooms are very old, I’m talking popcorn ceilings. The first room we were in, the thermostat wasn’t working. Thankfully, we were put in a different room, but it wasn’t much better. The door was beat up, there are scratches on some of the walls, the wallpaper is separating, the sink faucet is dripping, the sealant around the toilet is worn, the curtains have stains, the light fixtures are raggedy, and the room wreaks of an old carpet smell. It’s a nice looking hotel on the outside and in the lobby areas, but the rooms need to be updated like yesterday!
