  Check in was easy and fast with Jamel at the front desk. Jamel has the perfect personality for his job and his customer service was exceptional. He is knowledgeable about the area and gave us great recommendations. Carrie is another front desk clerk. I had birthday cards to mail but realized I had forgotten my stamps at home. I appreciate her kindness in sharing her stamps with me. Thank you Carrie! The lobby was nicely maintained. It was clean, bright and inviting. The continental breakfast was good and it had a nice variety. The room was actually 2 rooms, with both a bedroom and a separate sitting/ work area in the front which had a couch and good sized chair as well as a desk. Both rooms had large screen TVs. The bathroom was clean with a large shower. There was an issue with the toilet continuously running but Jamel came to the room right away and got it fixed. The HVAC worked well and was very quiet. The hallway was quiet. We were close to the elevator but we didn't hear it in our room. Walking distance to many restaurants, both national chain and local independents. Thankfully we were driving this time because there's no shuttle service provided to the cruise port. We would definitely stay here again if we're ever in area.

  This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in hands down. I had an issue with my check-in which was my fault and the woman at the front desk did end up helping me and getting me into a room at the last minute. I got up to my room after midnight and it was extremely dirty and nasty. Someone else’s underwear was literally hanging in the closet. The toilet and shower had hair all over it. There was a hairball on the floor and what looked like spilled mustard stains on the carpet. It was just gross. I sprayed the bed down with Lysol and slept on top of the sheets until morning. I showed the front desk and housekeeping manager photos of the condition of my room at 9am and they assured me they’d do a full cleaning. I returned back at 5:30pm just to find the room in the exact same condition except they removed the underwear. At that point I asked to be moved to a completely different, CLEAN, room. When I checked out the next day the manager didn’t even bother to speak with me and just told the lady working the front desk to give me $100 off when I paid over $700 for the stay. Completely unacceptable. I don’t expect much from places like this, but this was especially egregious.

  Was a good location to our gathering. Service was good, attentative, quick to help. Downs, one elevator broken. Only two to start with. Made using them fun. Rooms were spacious. Living room, coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge. Beds were comfy. Room was a bit dirty and run down. USB charging stations didn't work. Broken, pushed in. Luckily we brought our plugs. Ac wall control fell off the wall and disconnected from the unit control for a while. Room kept getting warm. Bathroom was not awesome. Sink faucet was set poorly by sink. Shower head was old and not functioning well, low pressure. Overall, not a terrible room, not a great room either. Needs a deep clean, fixes and updates.
