- AAAustin AvocadoNov 11, 20254.0This is a OK hotel, it’s modern looking but pretty dirty from I think mostly worker people walking in and out. Their rooms are very big and extended. Although my sink water pressure was low. They have fresh bean to cup coffee and utensils out near the breakfast area if you need any.

I absolutely love coming to places where the first person you meet is friendly happy to help and welcomes you with a smile! Let's get Jamal to be the face and the expectation of every Holiday Inn in America!! I have zero complaints and I can't stop smiling because of how he welcomed me! That's just the welcome. The room is so clean and nice. I got the top floor with an amazing view of the setting sun. Seriously I can't stop being so impressed with this hotel and cleaning staff and welcoming staff!Thank you my friend and God bless!!

- EHEric HagenSep 30, 20251.0Check-in at this property was a frustrating mess. With only two parties ahead of me, it still took nearly 30 minutes to get checked in. On top of that, I had accidentally booked two rooms and immediately asked the front desk staff to cancel and refund the duplicate. He assured me he would take care of it but he didn’t. When I followed up through Expedia, the property flat-out refused to issue the refund, even though they had plenty of availability, so it isn't like it was fully booked and I took a room from somebody (the clerk even asked me which floor I preferred, listing several open rooms). For a hotel that brands itself as “Express,” this was anything but. The neighborhood is fine for quick airport trips, but the amenities are bare-bones and cleanliness is just average. I travel frequently, including to Norfolk 10–12 times a year, and will not be returning here. With so many other options nearby, I strongly discourage booking at this hotel.
