When I call to ask for toilet paper and it takes over an hour, yeah, you have a problem. The service overall was just horrible and rude. The rooftop bar is actually on the 5th floor below all of the rooms so if you are staying on floor 10-15 with premium Riverside view, you won't be able to sleep as people will be partying or they will have a DJ going until 2AM. On the 12th floor you can still very clearly hear the bass. The place may look nice, but it's slowly falling apart throughout. Honestly, save the money and stay at the Sheraton.

I recently attended a party hosted at the Hilton in Norfolk, VA, and it was absolutely outstanding. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make the entire event unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was vibrant, welcoming, and perfectly organized. The event space was fantastic—especially the Great Room. It was spacious, beautifully designed, and created the perfect setting for a celebration. The lighting, layout, and overall ambiance were spot-on, making the entire night feel upscale and memorable. The food and drinks were excellent, and the service staff kept everything flowing smoothly without ever feeling intrusive. Every detail was clearly handled with care and professionalism. What truly stood out was how friendly and attentive the team was. They made sure guests were comfortable, the schedule stayed on track, and the energy stayed high the entire evening. If you're planning a celebration, conference, or any special event in Norfolk, I highly recommend the Hilton. The Great Room and the staff together make for an incredible experience!

If you want to not sleep in your hotel room this would be a great place. But good luck actually getting any sleep because the nightclub and rooftop bar blast music all night and there are rooms directly above it. The bass is literally shaking our floor and the music can be heard through the white noise machine we have running. The rooms are nice but the entire 10th floor is completely unusable as a hotel due to Grain below.

I didn't stay there. I went for a conference. But the lobby areas and conference rooms were really nice. The restaurants were amazing. The prices were great, even though you got enough food to feed two or three people.

Pros: Location. Walking distance from lovely restaurants. Nice water view. An older Black lady hostess kindly assisted me upon arrival. Cons: - There was a razor blade on the floor in my room that I stumbled upon. Thankfully I had on shoes. Not sure how you miss a shiny razor blade on the floor. - My room was on the 10th floor situated literally next to a rooftop bar. I could look out my window and see patrons. I arrived around 9PM, and the noise into my room loudly continued through the night. Additionally, it sounded like someone was moving furniture nonstop. I slept with noise cancelling headphones to get a NAP. - Time to checkout. 5:45a. I call down to valet to retrieve my car. I was informed valet does not open until 7 AM, so I would be given the keys to go get my own car. (Hauling my luggage too.) - I am given the key and sent to a large parking garage to search for my car, in the dead of night, with luggage on my person. It took roughly 10 minutes walking floor by floor ALONE, a woman with luggage, to find my car. It was not located where I was instructed to go. It was three floors down. Dangerous, inconvenient, and NOT proper valet service. This was my first time back in Norfolk in 20 years. I was hoping for a better experience, did not get it. I would not recommend or return to this hotel.
