    I am writing to share my recent experience at your property in Norfolk Virginia on 11/8/25. Unfortunately, my stay was far from what I expected, and I believe it’s important to bring these concerns to your attention. My husband and I arrived at the hotel around 9:45 am from the airport and were informed by the front desk that no rooms were available for early check-in. While I understand early check-ins are subject to availability, the hotel appeared largely unoccupied, and the staff member showed little willingness to assist. I even explained that we were in town for a funeral scheduled at 2:00 p.m. hoping for some compassion or flexibility, but none was shown. When I called your customer service line for help, I was told the same thing — that there were no rooms — even though it was clear the hotel was not full. After waiting for hours and having to leave to eat and to figure out a place somewhere to change and prepare for the funeral, we returned to find that a room had suddenly become available. Additionally, I had specifically booked a king-sized room but was given a room with two queen beds instead. While we were too exhausted to address it further at that point, it added to an already disappointing experience. Overall, I left feeling that the staff lacked empathy and that guest comfort was not a priority. This was an especially stressful time, and a small amount of understanding or effort from your team would have made a world of difference.     Stayed in a couple different rooms over the course of 6 weeks and besides the breakfast being decently cooked, everything else was very dissapointing. Rooms were poorly maintained and just dirty. Peeling wallpaper and tiles, mold on the AC units, rusty on the shower doors with rickety handles. Motel quality rooms in a hotel with a hot breakfast is essentially what you get here.

    Only thing this place has is close proximity to the airport but there’s plenty of other hotels next door. This hotel came with bed bugs, layers of dust on the lamps and table and the convenience of a shuttle bus that showed up 20 minutes late.
