If your planning on going on a cruise, this is the place to stay. They provided shuttle service to and from the shipyard. I was also able to leave my vehicle on site for a week for only $30. This saved me $60 in parking fees.

Enjoyed my stay here while my husband was working in the area. The process was quick and easy not to mention the warm, delicious cookies and bottle of water provided upon check-in. Additionally, Ms. Shantell at the front desk greeted us with the utmost professionalism and kindness. She made sure we were okay and asked if we needed anything. The rooms were nice and clean, and the bed was comfortable. Could use more water pressure in the bathroom; however, the water was hot enough to shower. The breakfast buffet was a little expensive but the food was good and there was a variety of everything. If I'm in the area again, I would definitely stay here again.

I recently coordinated an extended stay here for my small group, I learned a valuable lesson, verify certain things before booking, at this location continental breakfast IS NOT included with room, zero coffee available at anytime ever in lobby, only two washers and one dryer available, let the front desk know the other washer/dryers were broken and he said he wasn’t aware and then acted like it was no big deal. We aren’t entitled to these things but if I had know certain things in advance I would not have booked my groups stay here. The rooms are clean but some of us of had dirty towels and bath mats taken without replacements being left several times which is a sign of poor quality oversight. Doubletree managers need to either get their priorities back in line or be replaced. The upside is the Landing bar/restaurant, staff is 5 star and the food was very good.

I needed to share the terrible experience I’m having at your staff.
You have a manager, by the name of Paul, who is CHARGING your guests for CUPS to just drink iced tea with their dinner. Let me elaborate….
My family & I grabbed some dinner and brought food to the hotel. We were dining in the lobby area where there’s a high table and about 5 chairs. We had a 1/2 gallon of iced tea. I went to the Landing Bar & Bistro and asked Ashley for 4 plastic cups. She responded with “uuhhh” and walked away to the back. I thought she was going in the back to get me & my family some cups.
Instead…. Paul came to the bar counter and asked me if he can help me.
I responded “hi I was asking her for 4 cups”. Paul responded, “I can ring you up for the cups”.
My response was “We’re just asking for cups to drink tea” and I pointed to show him where my family & I were sitting (where he can clearly see the 1/2 gallon of iced tea) serving out each other dinner.
Paul (the manager) response and tone was sarcastic and demoralizing.
Paul responded “I’ll be more than happy to ring you up for those cups”.
I repeated for clarity, “so you charge your guests for plastic cups to drink tea?”
Paul again responded in front of 6-7 other guests, embarrassing me in front of everyone, in his demoralizing & sarcastic tone, “I’ll be more than happy to ring them up for you”….. while his employee Ashely and other patrons watched.
I started to walk away then asked him what’s his name he responded again with the same sarcastic tone with a smile on his face, like he won the battle “my name is Paul the manager”.
I walked away and went straight to the front counter where I asked Towanda for cups and she gave me 4 coffee cups with EASE. Not a second thought about giving a guest a cup.
I can honestly say I am flabbergasted at the audacity he had to stand by his choice and behavior. Whether or not the restaurant employees are not the same as Hilton employees, (I know that can happen) but not sure if that’s the case here. Quite frankly I don’t care. I’m a guest to the hotel and the restaurant staff should treat the hotel guests better just like Towanda did from the time we walked in the lobby. Towanda greeted us with a smile, had us laughing during check in, and was so welcoming.
I need someone to, follow up on this experience. Go watch your video and see my facial expression. Go watch the video to see how many other patrons were sitting around the bar while he embarrasses another like he’s a big tough guy. Then just hung around the bar and watched the football game on the TV’s.
Contact me and let me know yes he did the right thing.
Regretful for choosing this location,
