  Room was large and well equipped for a long stay. Everything worked and it was cleaned before arrival. The front desk was friendly, fast and professional. They also have a great gym and outdoor grilling area. It’s not a hotel I would stay in for a few nights on vacation with my family but I will request it with through my company for work out of town.

  I had a family member book this hotel due to it's proximity to ORF and the fact that they say they have an airport shuttle. Took them to check in this evening and the staff member relayed that the airport shuttle was discontinued two years ago and has not resumed. They do not have an airport shuttle apparently. They neglect to update this fact so third party booking services bookers beware as their neglect to update their amenities might end up costing you more than you expected and inconvenience you. I expect better from IHG. The staff member, Marqus, at the counter was very knowledgeable and respectful. He is the only positive this place has to offer.

  The second day I tried the shower. The shower curtain rod was loose. Curtain didn’t close all the way. When I turned the water on I only got cold water. The maintenance guy came to check it. He found that the handle was installed backwards. He turned it to “cold” and hot water came out. Who knew? The light over the bathroom mirror went out. The TV was confusing. We had to choose XBox to get regular channels. I have to give credit to the entire staff. They were friendly and helpful. They made our stay bearable.

  Do not waste your money here! Stay somewhere else even if it costs a little bit more! The hotel room was absolutely filthy. Upon entering the room it smelled wet, musty, and moldy. The a/c unit was leaking water and the carpet under it was soaking wet. There was dust and dirt all over the a/c unit vents. There were stains on the curtains. There was dried blackened gum stuck in the carpet. The floors were disgusting, if you walked around the room without socks on, the bottoms of your feet would turn black with dirt and dust and be covered in crumbs. The bathroom door had black fingerprints all over it and didn't shut properly. The shower curtain was moldy. There was a big fan running out in the hallway the entirety of our stay and they were working on the room next door presumably from water damage and that's probably part of the reason our room smelled wet and musty on top of the a/c leaking water all over the carpet. The stay was not good at all due to these reasons and it is unacceptable for them to let people stay in a room that is that dirty. It was absolutely disgusting and was terrible to stay in.
