    Jan 1-3 I called ahead and emailed to ensure the pool was usable and was told it was. My issue isn’t that it wasn’t fixed over a holiday, it is that I called and was told it was working and then I paid more for this hotel than for another and to top it off, I wasn’t notified of this issue until I arrived. Apologies don’t cut it when you plan ahead and make sure. I booked this hotel because it had a pool and a hot tub and I paid extra so that my pregnant daughter could join me. My pregnant daughter and my grandson who was turning seven were looking forward to the pool. When I got there, there was a sign up saying that the pool in the hot tub heater was broken. I was told that I could have cancel my reservation. But that wasn’t going to work as we needed to get going because we had plans for the rest of the day and didn’t have time to rebook and travel to another hotel. I should’ve been notified in a text or an email as both of those were available for the reservations. I have to stay in the area for two weeks later this month and will return to this area many times to visit my daughter. I’ll be staying at comfort suites.

    I did not notice the sign about pool area open but heaters out as I was immediately asked for my identification and payment upon entering the lobby. Unbeknownst to me, this affected whirlpool too but sign said pool. I asked for a refund, discount, reported to both booking.com and IHG, but to no avail. This hotel pool is always cold, even when operable. The front desk told a totally different story for some reason as though a late check out was due to this like I hadn't requested that when booking. Will never come here again. Also, no housekeeping which was NOT told at all, just a sign in elevator which contradicts the priority room service signs in the bedroom.

    The hotel manager has blown me off with my concerns of bed bugs. I reported to the hotel the day after my 2-night stay once I saw the bites appearing. I was told that I would get a phone call back the next day. I had to call the hotel back on my own a few days later because I was forgotten about. When I spoke to reception, they let me know that the hotel manager would be in the next day and could return my call then. Instead of calling me, I received an email stating they conducted their own inspection and could not find anything. I replied back asking for proof, and have yet again been blown off. They do not take bed bugs seriously here. I have not had any other hotel stays, so I would not have received these bites anywhere else.

    Very nice hotel are two bed. Suite was very clean very comfortable our grandkids love the gorgeous pool and spa. Nice hot breakfast reasonably priced Very nice hotel. Highly recommended.
