On my most recent stay at this hotel I was placed in the room directly across from the swimming pool. A group of 6 to 10 girls, who looked to be 8-12 years old, came down to the pool and it was a complete scream fest. I was waiting on food to be delivered in the lobby and could clearly hear the screaming from there. I asked the clerk to please say something to them as it is disturbing across the hall. Her response was. That she couldn't because the pool was open till 10:00 pm. I told her I completely understood the pool's open but there was a need for peace regardless, and she turned and walked into the office with nothing else said. As I went back to my room I poked my head into the pool area and nicely asked the girls to keep it down that they were disturbing others, and they did without question. I just don't feel like it is the responsibility of a guest to have to handle the job of the person running the establishment.

We stayed one night at this location and it is very nice clean and the staff was friendly and quick. We picked our room using the Hilton app and selected one facing the pond. Very pretty to wake up to this morning

My husband booked a King suite on 9/18 for 9/27. On 9/19, the hotel called and said they didn’t have the suite available (red flag #1) and they could only offer us a regular room with two queens. They didn’t offer anything for this inconvenience. My husband requested a discount and the manager offered $20 off. We were already charged for the suite and they said the new room fee would come out of that charge and they would refund the rest. Ok fine. We receive a cancelation email stating that because WE canceled we would be subject to charges (red flag #2). We get there and they request to verify his ID and charge us for the new room even though we already prepaid for the old room and the charge CLEARED. The clerk at the desk said she had to call support. We came back later to a new clerk who said she left a note saying we had to contact Hilton because it was prepaid. We leave the next morning and call them on the way home. Hilton Corporate said they already sent the money to the hotel and so only the hotel can reverse/refund the money (red flag #3). Now we have to wait for the same manager who canceled our room to get in and call us on when we might expect to receive a refund. Very odd that the room was available to book online and then we get switched. And the manager is the one who has to fix the issue that they caused.
EDIT AFTER OWNER RESPONSE BELOW: we paid $194 for the new room, so we didn’t not receive the discount you claim. Again, he has to ASK for the discount for the inconvenience. The manager didn’t even call himself, he had the clerk call. Then I was told on SUNDAY by corporate that the manager would call me when he got in. I called back Sunday evening and was told there is no manager on duty on the weekends, which is a bit concerning. I left a message and I was told that he would call me the next day on Monday. I did not hear from him on Monday. I called on Tuesday and I was told he was in a meeting and would call me back before he left for the day. I waited and I called back Tuesday evening and lo and behold, he had already left for the day. I was asked to leave another message. I called corporate back and I let them know. They said there was nothing that they could do. They also said that they called the hotel and they promised me that he would call me the next day. They told me if he did not call the next day to call them back and they would see what they could do. It is now Sunday of the next weekend and this man has still not called me. We gave up and disputed it with our bank, which is why we will be getting our refund. This is absolutely unacceptable and ridiculous and leaves a terrible taste in our mouth for Hilton in general because of the fact that even corporate couldn’t help us with this. This manager is absolutely terrible and ridiculous.
