  Rooms need more attention to detail especially bathrooms. Hair in the shower sink still had people snot an nose residue in it. I don't think Ill return to this location. Plus they charge for parking they just started in January money hustle. Why? I dont know its not even a busy area. I didnt take picture of the sink before I cleaned it. I should have.   Lisa at the front desk was so kind. We were a little early, ahead of the rest of our group checking in, and she made sure we were taken care of as soon as we arrived. Maria with housekeeping was excellent! It felt so nice coming back to a clean room each night after a long day of touring D.C. Everything was restocked daily if needed. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend. Also the complimentary breakfast was a must for us!

  If you like mushy beds and sandpaper towels, this is your place. The outside of the building is beautiful. The lobby is beautiful. The elevators and hallways are beautiful. The bathroom is beautiful. The room is a good size. The carpeting in the room smells like a gym. But all of those beautiful things don’t do anything for creature comfort once you lie down in the bed. If you have a bad back, you should sleep somewhere else. The mattress is way beyond being due for replacement. And the bath towels are the same quality you find in a pet salon. We will not be returning to this location.

  I had no reservation upon check in with Kyle the clerk behind the desk. He stated rooms are available. So I checked in around 10pm on March 28, 2026. I had advised Kyle I was a AAA driving club member and requested the discount be applied. His reply was he gives ALL his customers that discount. Next morning I checked out with Lisa the morning clerk. I Requested a paper copy receipt and what I expected had happened. NO AAA discount was reflected. I paid the going rate of $154 for accomdations, the $9 upcharge fee for parking in the hotel lot is not included, nor is the $25 upcharge incidental fee and of course any taxes. I paid $154 which every other person paid when they notified the clerk of their discounted membership. Lisa the morning clerk was unable to make any adjustments after she reviewed the bill and acknowledged NO discount was applied to the accomodation rate. Lisa's remedy was I had to speak to Kyle she could not do any adjustments to another's clerks billing. At this point I presented my current active AAA card to Lisa. To prove to her I am a member. She pointed out to me several times, there is no expiration date on my card. I mentioned to her that AAA stopped reprinting annual cards. This is the first year AAA cards do not have experation dates. Again Lisa responded back, No experation date. I asked her if she was implying my AAA membership card is not valid? It was quite clear she was unaware of the change but was still not able to apply my discount. About 10 mins later Lisa calls me on my phone to tell me she will give me $7 off. Frustrated I contacted AAA to confirm the amount of discount, it's 10% on accomdations. I was entitled to $15.40 off. AAA is investigating the procedures of this specific Hotel, reimbursting me the owed amount of $15.40 and the misleading of AAA members. Any membership club please review your bill at this location to ensure YES your membership that you pay for is applied. Finally, be aware you may be challenged about the card experitation date if your a AAA member. Don't settle for less than you paid for and expect. Travel safely and be aware. Update: 4.6.2026. This hotel is not affiliated with AAA at all! Kyle lied several times.
