  Recently stayed two nights. I agree with previous review, very nice, clean. Room, modern, walk in shower. I am post surgery on crutches, and the staff helped me with small, simple things that are difficult when not very mobile. I really appreciate how that helped me. Staff was great. My favorite thing, the two, single cup, coffee brewing machines I lobby area, available 24/7. IHOP is next door, walking distance also.

  I would give this hotel a 6 out of 5 if I could! We stayed here during the winter storm of January '26. The staff is so friendly and kind. The room and common spaces are modern, very clean, and there is a fresh smell in the air. Breakfast was slightly different each day and delicious. I would highly recommend!!

  We had a lovely stay at this hotel! The staff were wonderful. Very friendly and helpful! The breakfast was great and there was different options to choose from. There was always coffee no matter what time of day!

  My sister and I traveled from Philadelphia to Virginia for a funeral service of a family member and decided to stay in K.G. At HIE to get up and travel to Montross the next morning. The room was huge, I loved the scent of the body wash. The television selection networks available were poor but other than that all other amenities were great. The hot tea/and coffee available 24/7 in lobby was definitely needed. Also the complimentary breakfast was great. And the front desk staff that checked me in he was great! I forgot his name to acknowledge him very friendly and polite. Great music playing lightly was a great touch.

  Best breakfast I've had at a budget chain hotel, ever. The eggs are perfect, the sausage is real, and the sausage gravy is fresh. The hotel coffee is actually decent for once if you water it down a bit, I recommend dipping pastry or donuts in it. The cleanliness was impeccable, the pillows and blankets weren't excessive in number or tucked too tightly under the mattress, the tile floors were heated, the decor felt fancy, the staff were very nice, and the wifi was fast and unlimited. If you ever have to stay in a local hotel because your power goes out and stays out during the winter again, this is the place.
