    Old, old, old. Cracked that door open and felt like I was stepping into January of 2002. Not a horrible place, but there are better alternatives local.

    ****This review is for the shuttle service only . Horrible experience. The airport shuttle system is a mess. They claim it runs every 30 minutes, but it takes much longer. The drivers were rude and unprofessional.

    The check-in process was unnecessarily confusing I received an email stating that it would be contact list after registering for a digital key through the app. I never received a digital key. It took over 45 minutes for me to even access the room the signs for the lobby in the parking lot are not well lit. I ended up going through a side door, having to walk all the way around to the lobby and then back to my taxi to grab my bags. I received a follow up email telling me that I could bypass the front desk and go directly to my room when doing so I opened up the app to let me know that the key was not available then I had to go back to the front desk carrying all this luggage there’s no bellhop or valet service to help with the bags then I get to the front desk to rectify the key situation to stand there with three people behind the desk and no one acknowledged or helped me until I had to ask for help while 1 person was working with a difficult customer the night auditor was present and maybe his job is not to assist guest, but they could have directed one of the other associates to help me as the other person was dealing with the more difficult situation. It’s very poor customer service after staying at Hilton Diagonal Mar which was a 10, it led me to book at this hotel I was very disappointed. I only was staying for a layover, which was about six hours and of the hours was spent trying to access my room. It’s very unacceptable. As a Hilton Honors member I expect more.

    This stay was extremely disappointing and not what I expect from a Hilton-branded hotel. The airport shuttle was over 30 minutes late, leaving me standing outside in 30-degree weather with no communication or updates. When it finally arrived, the driver said he could not help load luggage, so I had to lift my own bags. Once at the hotel, I discovered there was no convenient access to water, coffee, or snacks for most of the day. Breakfast ends at 10 a.m., and nothing else opens until after 4 p.m. There are no restaurants or stores within walking distance, so if you want a coffee, tea, or snack, your only option is to take an Uber and leave the property. The small gift shop feels more like a five-and-dime store with limited, overpriced items. The room was not properly cleaned or updated. I found socks left behind by the previous guest, the shower curtain was torn, there were no outlets near the bed, and the bed was very uncomfortable. The entire hotel feels very outdated. The hotel advertises a spa, which is misleading. It’s a tiny, cluttered room that resembles a makeshift home salon rather than a real spa. Breakfast was basic buffet only, with no made-to-order options. Overall, this property relies on the Hilton name without delivering Hilton-level service, cleanliness, or comfort. I would not stay here again, even if it meant staying farther from the airport.

    Honestly, one of the worst Hiltons I have been to. The mattress was hard as a brick with a paper thin pillow topper. I would guess 1/4 inch thick. Kazi at the breakfast counter is so preoccupied with her phone, that all 3 morning she was playing with her phone for several minutes before I cleared my throat. The only saving grace here is the evening restaurant. Food was great, staff was attentive. Saved this from being a 1 star. The restaurant alone is 4-5 stars. Im expected to come back to Dulles several times this year, I won't be staying here...which says a lot because I select Hiltons whenever I travel because of the consistent quality.
