    I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay was a mess. From the moment we checked in, it felt like everything that could go wrong did. Poor communication, long waits, and a lot of time wasted trying to fix things that should’ve been handled. It ended up being more stressful than relaxing. Definitely wouldn’t recommend if you value your time or sanity.

    My family and I stayed here for my cousin’s wedding and it was genuinely the worst hotel experience. We had about 20+ members, our rooms were already booked and paid for by my cousin who was the groom, but the front desk refused to let any of us check in unless he came in person. It was HIS WEDDING DAY. He couldn’t leave the venue but the staff insisted and gave us no alternative. They never mentioned this requirement beforehand and he ended up having to leave his own wedding to handle check in. Completely unacceptable and inconsiderate.

    Would give 0 stars if I can. Unprofessional, unorganized, caused a mess during my wedding weekend with relatives flying in and were trying to stay at this hotel. 0/10 avoid They clearly did not understand how important this occasion was for me and my family as they tried to call my now husband to come in person DURING the wedding and we had to drive to them multiple times even after the fact to settle the card billing issues they caused. If they really are looking into the situation to address the concerns I raised, they should be reaching out to offer compensation, apology, or anything instead of asking us to reach out to their website or their phone as I am not willing to waste any more time with this nonsense.

    The rooms at this hotel are very outdated. The room I stayed in had an odor, the beds were uncomfortable, there was hair in the sink and tubs, and the walls were scuffed with white and black spots. The rooms are definitely in need of some upgrades and better cleaning. I was in desperate need of a room due to a cancelled flight. Other nearby hotels were booked, so this was my quickest and cheapest option at midnight. Wish I stayed at the airport instead.

    If I sound negative, I ask that you click on my profile and look at my other reviews. I like to support small businesses that go above and beyond. I don't bother reviewing a fast food place for example. I realize that prices in the Washington DC are going to be high but this place was a huge disappointment. Our room had a late 1980s vibe and not in a cool vintage way. We paid extra for an upgraded room and it was very outdated with wallpaper peeling, torn curtains, no mini fridge when smaller rooms had them. But the room pales in comparison to the poor attitude of the staff. The waitress in the restaurant was nice and the bartender in the bar was nice. Most everyone else could care less whether you're there or not. The young lady at the front desk was very dismissive of questions and borderline rude. Use it as a necessity if you have to be near the airport. Spend more and stay somewhere nicer or try to get further out of DC. This place is not worth it.
