I was on a casual trip and decided to give this place a try, even though I’d already heard some negative things about it from another military member whose relative once worked here. I wanted to see for myself, but unfortunately, the feedback was right. The staff came off as lazy and uninterested, and there was a lingering smell of smoke and moth balls throughout the halls. My room didn’t feel properly cleaned, and the overall upkeep was disappointing. Breakfast was no better, the food tasted old, the area was messy, and the workers seemed unbothered by it all. The hotel feels neglected and poorly managed. If you care about cleanliness, good service, or decent food, I’d look elsewhere.

Do not stay at this Hampton Inn. It does not meet the Hilton standards but is priced as such. Halls and rooms smell like smoke. Room 233 bathroom shower is broken and the toilet runs all night and will not flush.

Would stay there again! Looks older, but the staff was amazing! Very nice, friendly and accommodating! Although I did not partake, they served breakfast for guest.

Just an honest review, it wasn’t the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, but there were many negatives. First, I unknowingly booked a smoking room (didn’t think those even existed anymore). I checked into the room and the fowl smell overcame me, I couldn’t stay in there for more than a minute. Thankfully, the very friendly front desk agent switched me to a non smoking room immediately. Despite that, this hotel is incredibly outdated. Everything is stained, old, and feels gross. The fire alarm went off twice during my stay for no reason, one time in the middle of the night, and it was going off for 5+ minutes. The bath tub drain was so clogged that the tub filled with water every time I showered, and it was gross. Upsides was the friendly staff, good location, and easy parking.

As a military traveler, I expected a smoother stay at the Hampton Inn on Coliseum Road. The atmosphere at the front felt more like coworkers sorting out personal issues than a team welcoming guests, which gave off an unprofessional vibe. The room wasn’t as clean as it should have been, and breakfast could use more variety. On the positive side, the location is convenient and check-in was polite once things settled. Overall though, this stay didn’t live up to the Hampton standard.
