The raving reviews about the staff at this hotel prompted me to book. Although I didn’t encounter these individuals during my stay, it was a pleasant experience! I stayed here for 2 days to attend a professional conference next door at the Hampton Roads Convention Center. This hotel is very conveniently located if you’re attending an event there or the Hampton Coliseum (both are within walking distance). It’s also very close to several restaurants and a nice shopping area. Hilton offers a digital key check in, which was a plus and allowed me to skip the line at the reception desk. The suites are very spacious and have updated features. There was some wear and tear evident in my room however it was clean. Housekeeping came each day. My stay was also quiet which was a plus. There is a breakfast buffet that was included with my stay. Wide assortment of food- omelet station, fruit, bread, oatmeal, yogurt, bacon, pancakes, etc. There’s also a restaurant on the first floor that has a bar. The menu was a bit limited and expensive for a full dinner. The gym was nice! My only con was having to pay for parking in the lot that’s directly attached to the hotel. I believe that should be included in the stay and guests should receive a sticker to identify that they are Hilton guests. Overall, I would stay here again if I’m attending an event in the area.

Booked the room for 1 adult and 3 children for a swim meet. At 4pm check-in time, the bathroom was filthy. Floor had visible dirt on it, hair in bathtub, hair and dirt around /on toilet bowl. Requested a cleaning several times and by 8pm it became clear it was not going to happen. Bought cleaning supplies from nearby Target to clean the bathroom myself. There were only 3 towels provided. Pull out had no bedding and had to be requested. The king bed comforter had stains on it. Bed looked made, not cleaned. I am disgusted and will never stay here again.

Bartender Ashley has been the best thing that happen to us this weekend. From laughing joking serving us drinks hell even cooking our dinner. 10/10 for baby girl. Great personality. Hope she is here next yr for the jazz fest. The only problem I had was with your culinary supervisor John baker, guy is weird the team was busy he was just standing there letting people know his title. Most supervisors help there team NOT CULINARY MANAGER JOHN. Ashley was on break and he had to cook our food steak wasn’t cook to the right temperature ask for med well it was super super well done. He needs training on leadership. And people skills. S/o to Bethany for helping us the best way possible.

From the moment I walked into Embassy Suites – Hampton Roads, I was impressed. The hotel was spotless — the common areas were immaculate and beautifully maintained. The entire lobby had the most incredible, spa-like scent, almost like aromatherapy, which immediately made the space feel calm and inviting. My room was just as impressive — spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a perfect view overlooking the center of the hotel. Every detail felt thoughtfully designed to make the stay relaxing and enjoyable. Breakfast was another highlight! The variety was outstanding, with something for everyone — and the made-to-order omelette station was absolutely fantastic. The chef prepared my omelette perfectly fresh and exactly how I wanted it. This hotel truly feels like a hidden gem in the Hampton Roads area. If you’re visiting or passing through, skip the rest and book here — you won’t regret it!

Extremely disappointed with this Embassy. We have been diamond members for years. Whenever our unit travels for training we always try to find a Hilton before any other hotel. Our unit was hosting a conference at this hotel. Due to the government shutdown and the military not being funded we had no choice but to cancel our conference. Despite the Govt shutdown being completely out of our control this hotel kept $1700 for a cancelation fee. Insanity. Here we are, a military family not getting paid and they could not make an exception. Our last couple emails have been ignored. The initial booking went smoothly, however I believe the events manager changed 3 times during this planning... I can expound on this if need be. We will never book this facility for an event in the future.
