As a Diamond member who lives on the road so much I’m basically one rewards stay away from having my mail forwarded to a hotel lobby, I’ve learned to roll with the punches. But this stay? This one really said, “Hold my coffee.”
The room itself was fine, but the iron… listen, I’ve stopped expecting hotel irons to perform miracles, but this one barely qualified as a warm suggestion. I’ve had better results leaving my shirt on the dashboard in the sun.
Then there was the elevator on the backside of the hotel. It was so filthy I genuinely wondered if it had been part of a science experiment. The doors opened and closed at a pace that made me question whether it was operating on dial-up internet. I had time to rethink my life choices between floors.
But the dining experience deserves its own chapter. I sat there for almost 15 minutes, completely unacknowledged. Not even a “be right with you.” I was so invisible I started checking to make sure I hadn’t actually died in the elevator. Eventually I got up, walked to the front desk, and reported my newfound superpower of nonexistence. They assured me a manager would call, but at this point I think the call is coming by carrier pigeon, because I still haven’t heard a thing.
Overall, not exactly the Diamond-level experience I was hoping for—more like cubic zirconia on clearance.

I’ve stayed here twice and love it. Quiet rooms, nice grounds. Definitely a little older but the scenery makes up for it and it’s the cheapest Tapestry property out there!

I would never go back to this place, I will skip the conference/ event or stay somewhere else. This place has a huge potential to be great. Instead they fail to update and maintain the property. The ice machine was broken on my floor, and I do not think the room was very well cleaned. They did not even know the window was broken. The food is aweful! Breakfast on the buffet at $21, Golden Corral does a better job. Although to be fair the homefried potatoes and grits were above average, but the basic scrambled eggs were horrid. The lunches served at the conference I was attending were not much better, hospital or nursing home quality at best. The window unit in the conference room suggest the A/C was not working. Maybe being too critical and expect more from Hilton branded properties. See photos, I did not include all. The place needs a paint job and updated for sure. I wonder if the raving reviews stayed at the same place?

Was given a dirty room upon arrival. Hall smells like mildew, the food in the tavern was not great, and our door was propped open when we returned from outside. Not impressed. As a tapestry collection, I feel this place was closer to a motel 6. The grounds are the only nice thing about the place. And the tunnels need to either be cleaned and repainted or shut down. It was absolutely disgusting
