    I am from New Jersey and our flight was canceled due to shutdown. We stayed at a courtyard Marriott first night driving home. It was ok and overpriced. Then we stayed at your hotel Hampton Inn and Suited in Glen Allen, By far the best experience ever. Walk in and the friendliest guy Willie so accommodating and offered me a water. It makes a difference when you can tell they care. Along with Willie there was an amazing young lady her name was Breanna J. Couldn’t ask for better staff. When we walked in the entire hotel smells amazing. Not one negative the entire place was so clean. Bed comfy and shower hot with water pressure. Many awesome details I turn the TV on and the scream reads welcome Deborah. This place will be my hotel in the future. ******

    The room was clean but the fact that I felt like I slept outside overrides everything else. I have stayed in possibly over 100 hotels and a motel or 2. I did not sleep because I could hear traffic whizing by on the highway, and cars in and out the hotel parking lot. Location is decent because of surrounding restaurants, lots of things to do, shopping and short pump is a few miles away.

    I arrived after 10pm to this hotel with some clients. We were able to get parked and used a cart to get items to their room. Brianna was the person we dealt with on arrival. She was courteous and smiled while assisting us. Once I got my clients settled into their room, I went to my room. It was a handicap accessible room, which was large. The tv remote control did not work so I called the front desk. Brianna came up and gave me a new one, which worked fine. The hotel was isolated and away from the interstate, so I did not hear much street noise. The bed was decent but not the best. I like a firm mattress, but most hotels don't seem to have them. Most are soft and have the sinking feeling. Not good for folks with bad backs.
