Pretty outdated rooms, the lobby is nice. Paying for parking and breakfast, with broken fitness equipment. Pretty dirty and loud. $19 per person for cereal and bagels for breakfast is pretty ridiculous.

Large, comfortable suite but a few things keep this from being a top rated experience. The $5 fee for parking is nonsense. The lobby offered coffee and hot water for tea. When I let the front desk know that the hot water was not actually hot, the response was that was that they could heat a cup of water for me at the desk. That was not the point. If you were going to offer hot water, actually have hot water available. The $20 made to order breakfast was overpriced, especially when many similar hotels a free breakfast of similar quality.

Very convenient to the Fredericksburg Convention center, but I wasn't impressed. I had stayed at a different Hilton property (next door!) for the same meeting last year, and it was much better. The room was not terrible, but the first attempt had blinds that wouldn't close; they promptly switched me to another room (same room, different floor) - good service! But: my room, and therefore half of the rooms in the hotel, face immediately onto Interstate 95. We all know that I-95 is always busy- which means it's always LOUD. So location is an issue. (Maybe they should rent those rooms for 1/2 price, because one certainly can't get good sleep in them!). However, part of the noise issue comes from a lack of thought in furnishing the room: there's a mini fridge, and it's "disguised" in a laminate cabinet... But that cabinet holds the exhausted heat in, which means the fridge runs Constantly, and the noise of it running reverberates in the laminate cabinet - CONSTANTLY. (I ended up unplugging the fridge overnight in order to get any sleep at all!) Another furnishings issue is in the bathroom - the shower design is really quite nice, with towels storage right inside, well out of the way of the water - no having to let out all the warmth just to get a towel. However, the shower door swings open as far as it can, and wherever that is, it proceeds to drop lots of water on the floor. If the bathroom door is open, it soaks the rug outside; if the door is closed, it makes a large puddle on the ceramic tile floor - because the swing of the door is far larger than the bathmats. If you don't already know, water on ceramic floors is treacherous - not just in the abstract, but in hard, cold reality. I had my toes on the bathmat and my heel in the puddle that formed, and I nearly dislocated my hip! So those are the significant issues - the simply irritating ones were a wakeup call that didn't arrive; no decaf tea at all; stinky hair and body products; and a ridiculous charge for "parking" at $5.00 per day. Parking??? How would one arrive at a hotel accessible only by car, except by car? It's immediately off I-95 - there's certainly no other transportation available! Just another add-on charge, like the flat rate for breakfast, even if you just have a bagel. Especially with the other (nicer) Hilton properties adjacent to it, I certainly won't be returning to this one.

Had a great stay, convenient location just a few min off i95. Room was clean & front desk were friendly. Check in and check out was also super easy. Keep in mind - parking is $5, not a big deal but I missed it. Close to shopping, grocery & restaurants.
