  Gave rooms 3 stars only because there was a long black hair stuck to the side of the bathtub. Otherwise everything was great.

  Just pulled in and got a room for us and our dog. Old fashioned hotel/motel, nice and clean. Good breakfast. Dog included

  This Best Western has been recently renovated and the best part, the rooms have hard flooring (no funky, nasty carpet!!) The hotel is basic, the pool was closed while I was there, I had the breakfast one day, and it was the usual hotel fare. Why three stars? Well, I arrived on Suday for a week long stay. On Monday, housekeeping came in and cleaned the room (but no more towels, made the bed, cleaned up the trash), on Tuesday, no one showed up, room was just as I left it that morning. On Wednesday morning, as I was leaving for my class, I stppped by the front desk and asked for more towels and the trash to be picked up. Lady said yes, unfortunately housekeeping NEVER brought the towels, never picked up the trash from the room. By Friday, I had no towels (luckily, I always travel with a washcloth and hand towel which I used), traa h was never picked up which meant there were 3 nights' worth if food trash in the room. By Thursday morning, I stopped asking for housekeeping to stop by. So while the room was awesome, the service was lacking.

  I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel regarding my service dog. I originally reserved a room with a king bed, but when I checked in and informed the front desk that I had a service animal, I was told I could not stay in that room. Instead, they said I had to move to a “pet-friendly” room with two queen beds. I explained that my dog is a service animal and should not be treated the same as a pet, but they still refused to give me the room I reserved. I was essentially forced to take a different room solely because of my service dog. This situation was frustrating and felt unfair. Staff should be properly trained on how to handle guests with service animals and understand that they are not pets and should not be restricted to specific rooms. I’ve filed a complaint under the ADA regarding this situation so future guests don’t experience the same treatment.

  We had a phenomenal stay here at at this Best Western Location. The staff was kind and yhe room was clean and comfortable and the wifi has pretty fast as well. The breakfast was extremely delicious and both attendants went out of their way to make sure everything was right. The only issue I had and can warn other travelers are that if you're in your room, you can hear loud conversations outside your room and can hear plenty of emergency vehicles go by in the middle of the night. Other than that, there was nothing wrong and with this being said, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Fredericksburg area. 10/10!
