  Malfunctioning fire alarm woke up whole hotel at 2AM. Writing this review from the lobby while fire department tries to fix fire alarm. Place is badly outdated and has a general feeling of being the place you stay because other hotels are booked up. Staff tries but can't overcome the obvious fiscal neglect from Hilton. Fire fighter just specifically told me when I asked that it was not a prank but a malfunction in the alarm system.

  We found two roaches in the our room. One in the kitchen and one in the bathroom. The wallpaper was peeling off and one of the burners wasn't working.

  Called yesterday prior to booking my reservation and talked to Marquis. He sold me on the property and ensured that I would be comfortable in my 5-day stay at the hotel. Made the reservation today and again was provided excellent customer service from Marquis. Highly Recommended!

  Although this hotel is in a great location, it is extremely outdated. I am not sure how they get away with not renovating to meet Hilton brand guidelines. They need to update the rooms and the common areas. I will choose another property when I am in the area again.

  If able, I'd avoid this outdated hotel. While overall it was okay, do not plan on staying here and expecting your normal Hilton expectations. The gym is VERY small with only cardio equipment which was unsanitary. And the gym doesn't "open" till 6 AM as it is on the same floor as rooms and to keep quiet, it does not open till late for those who are early risers. Tried to wipe down equipment but was still nasty. The room had a cracked sink, mold, a stove which was from the 60's or 70's, the towel rack bar kept falling off, and a thermostat which I believe still has a mercury switch in it. The worst part was the human fluid (blood or mucus) on the wall nearest the sink...it was NASTY!!! Pictures attached below showing proof. While check in was easy and the gentleman who helped check me in was great, the cleaning crew needs assistance and record keeping. At 7:55 AM, I had housekeeping trying to get into the room while I was in the shower. Then once out, at 8:15 AM a Housekeeping Supervisor knocked and asked when I was leaving. Checkout is not until 12:00 PM and I only stayed one night, yet before 8:00 AM I was being asked if they could come clean. Was concerning of their record keeping and asking guest when they were leaving. Will NOT stay here again!!!
