I have stayed at this hotel every time I visit Falls Church, and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had here.
At check-out, we were suddenly charged extra fees that were never disclosed during booking. The staff claimed that the parking fee was listed on the hotel’s website. This excuse is completely unacceptable because we always book through an app, not through the hotel’s website. If a fee is real and legitimate, it must be clearly shown on the booking platform — not hidden and mentioned only at check-out.
What makes this even worse is that during all of my previous stays, parking was always included in the room rate. I have never once been charged separately for parking at this hotel. Now, without warning, we were charged $10 per car, which feels dishonest and exploitative.
This is not how loyal, returning guests should be treated. Adding surprise charges at check-out is misleading, unprofessional, and gives the impression that the hotel is trying to squeeze extra money out of guests. I have completely lost trust in this hotel, and I will never stay here again. I strongly advise others to be careful and double-check for hidden fees before booking.

The shower head in my room was literally held up with tape against the wall.
The toilet wasn’t working on the very first hour/night of my stay and their solution was to give me a plunger, which I had to use every time I wanted to flush.
Not a mention of switching rooms, or any type of compensation during my stay. The staff were incredibly reluctant to offer any solution for these issues and were incredibly dismissive.
Only after the fact when I contacted Hilton customer service did this location reach out to me. They offered a pathetic 15,000 Hilton points. For context, its about 35,000 points for a single night at this place and I stayed here an entire business week.

Hotel is horrible, had a long day and this place had no hot water for showers at the end of the day. And they didn’t even tell us at the front desk and when we arrived. We asked for a refund, they said we either get $30 dollars off our room or full refund if we leave. No hot water is ridiculous especially when they DIDNT EVEN WARN US after a long day of travel. Weird smell too btw, and elevator was rickety.
If you're looking for a swimming pool, it's "out of order." When we arrived at 6:00 pm on 10/29/2025 there wasn't anyone to check us in, after an extended wait, I picked up their phone and dialed for assistance, no answer. Because nobody was around, I decided to check out the pool that was right around the corner from the front desk and found a sign that said "We're sorry for the inconvenience. Temporarily out of order October 28, 2025--January 31, 2026." NOT HAPPY! We had driven from Wisconsin with our 12-year-old grandson to find out that we won't have a pool. There are 3 things I always look for in a hotel, and they are good guest ratings, safe location & a pool. When the front desk person finally got to the desk, I inquired about this and he said "sorry, but it's out of order." I asked what was wrong with it (it looked perfectly fine) and he said that he didn't know. He told me that if I didn't prepay, I could cancel or they could give me a discount. I spoke with my husband, and we decided that we'd take the refund because all we wanted to do was unload, unpack & relax. I went back and told the clerk that we'd take the discount, and their idea of a discount was free parking ($10/day @ 5 days) & $20.00 off our first night. I was too tired to argue, and I responded with "whatever" in an unpleasant tone. I never would've chosen this hotel had I know we wouldn't have a pool. PERIOD!
The room? small for 4 people, but oh well. The bathroom and closed share a sliding door, and there's no lock. The bathroom has a vent in the ceiling, but nothing to turn it on with. If you own slippers, bring them, as the carpet could use a good cleaning.
Pros: The breakfast was hot, and decent (the waffles were EXCELLENT)! They keep the lobby, dining area and hallways nice & neat. Beds are comfortable. The area definitely felt safe, and it's within close proximity to almost everything you could imagine. I believe the Metro was 1 mile from there.
In conclusion, our overall experience wasn't about the hotel, but about the memories made with our grandson, and our youngest who is stationed nearby, but we wouldn't choose this place again, pool or not.
LAST MINUTE ADD-IN: I just realized that we weren't given our discount. I wasn't able to view our invoice on my phone (all the words were one on top of another) and decided that maybe I should look it over while I'm on my laptop, and I'm so glad I did. My total stay amount when I booked was $944.50. The amount charged to our card was $931.41.
